no but you can make a Blank 32GB VHD file and mount it to the IODD and install normally.Hello.
Thank you so much for creating this great tool.
A small question, would it be possible to obtain the latest version of Medicat in .iso format
I would like to put the image on my Zalman (a physical Daemon Tools equivalent).
Thank you in advance for your answers
I too have been having issues when using somthing as simple as UnStoppableCopierI love this tool! However, one problem I continually run into is a kernel mode exception BSOD after running Mini Windows 10 for about an hour. Has anyone else had this problem. Makes it difficult to use some tools such as data recovery that take a long time to run. Thanks
Hi, you don't need any tutorial, just use the crossplatform free application Transmission to create any kind of torrent type links. Can anyone recommend me a good tutorial on how to create Magnet web links so that they can be used for downloading with BitTorrent software?

I would just make a new VHD file sized at 30 GB and then mount it to the IODDHow do you update from older MediCat USB versions, such as 21.03 to 21.12? I'm using an IODD, kind of forget the complications involved in the VHD/RMD file creation, but I know I can view the mounted MediCat RMD file I have as a partition and can delete and add files, so can I just delete all the files and copy over the new ones or is something else involved? Thanks.
The problem is I don't remember all the steps involved in that and don't want to bother doing it again for no reason. What is the point of doing that in lieu of just deleting the current files and copying over the new ones?I would just make a new VHD file sized at 30 GB and then mount it to the IODD
Then reinstall like normal but instead of choosing the USB drive choose to VHD mounted
you could do that too.The problem is I don't remember all the steps involved in that and don't want to bother doing it again for no reason. What is the point of doing that in lieu of just deleting the current files and copying over the new ones?
You should open VHD Manager (In the PortableApps folder) and create a new 28GB VHD file, mount it, and use Ventoy2Disk to make it Ventoy bootable. Then format it as NTFS and drop the MediCat USB files onto it. Then it should boot up fine.
Medicat VHD (different from Medicat USB) is bootable from Ventoy as is, you just need to copy it to the stickHello,
Thank you very much for the great work, until now I was only a silent reader, as my need for a good rescue system was well covered here.
Until I noticed the following article while reading, with which I could no longer use one stick for each purpose, but everything on one stick:
After formatting the stick with Ventoy and storing some iso files (Windows, Acronis) there, I followed the instructions and created a virtual partition with vhd Manager, formatted it integrated and then made it bootable with Ventoy and then extracted Medicat on the virtual "partition". Consequently, the vhd file is on the stick and Medicat is on the partition.
After booting, I see the vhd file in the Ventoy menu and can select it, but then I only get the message Windows Boot Manager "Windows failed to start" - probably the system still needs to be taught to boot from the virtual partition? The iso files in the Ventoy menu start normally.
I have tried it with this ventoy plugin_vhdboot
file into the default folder on the stick, but it still won't start the virtual "partition" from the ventoy menu.
I would be very happy for help, unfortunately my technical skills are limited.
