Plug your switch in to a pc ( I assume its a lite) I bet it detects as in RCM mode. I know because I did the exact same thing to mine

I have same issue with black screen. Did you just reset from Full stock? Already tried that but didn't help.
If I may:
- please ground the two outer pins on the cpu flex (not absolutely needed, but good practice)
- why through hole pads for the emmc lines? It’s easier to attach 0.1mm wire to a “test point” than first fill the hole with solder and then attach.

the outer pins on cpu flex are actually grounded, it might just be hard to see in the picture
Through holes prevent pad ripping with poor soldering, although i see what you mean about making it harder. Maybe i should put SMD pads on underside and connect with vias? as a bonus this would make it even smaller
I’m afraid that if someone can’t solder to decently sized test points, they will absolutely trash the emmc points on the motherboard.
The smd pads on underside — not sure what you mean. Would you then solder on the top (on the via)? I guess that would work too.
