Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which picks up five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, launches next month. Ahead of its release, a story trailer for the game was aired:

The dark times are closing in as Cal Kestis seeks out a safe haven far from the reach of the Empire. Follow Cal and his crew's increasingly desperate fight as the galaxy descends further into darkness.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on April 28th.

Did this Cal Kestis guy appear in the original trilogy?
No?

Welp, he's gonna die.

I mean, there were hundreds of Jedi in the prequels, and more in subsequent expansions (like the Clone Wars cartoons), but they all hadta die because otherwise that'd plot-hole the original three. Starkiller was Vader's apprentice in The Force Unleashed, but he had to die as well. How's Cal any different?

Objection. Ahsoka Tano not only survived, but she's a major character in the time frame between the Original and ****qual Trilogies.

Oh great, another souls game. Because if we aren't signing over our bank accounts to Android "I hate single player" Wilson, he's going to ensure our experience is as miserable as possible until someone can outbid him from hanging on to the star wars licence.

Ahsoka is not a Jedi, though, she turned her back on them after she was nearly executed for a crime she didn't commit.
Nobody's a true Jedi after Order 66. But she is considered/'titled' a Jedi by the time of the Mandalorian. While she wasn't a member of the Coruscant Jedi, even Dave Filoni considers her a "Wandering" Jedi Master and closer to a true Jedi. She also no longer says she isn't a Jedi.

So yes, she is a Jedi. She didn't want to be called one during the Original Trilogy Era, but she always was, and closer to a Jedi as they were intended to be, and not how they acted during her time (again, mostly Filoni's words).
