Hey flubba I have an question does ngpds use the official D's expansion pak or only ez 3 in 1
NGPDS does not use any slot-2 flash card/expansion pak.
Same here, but for level 6-2, i'm stuck.
I'm using NGPDS 0.5.5 with TWiLight Menu++: v25.9.4 & nds-bootstrap: Release v0.71.1
Any advice or workaround ?
To be tested because I am no longer able to certify what I am going to say because it has been a long time since I last touched the settings of this emulator, but it seems to me that I had the same problem, which had me had to stay under version 5.1, but if I'm not saying anything stupid to resolve this problem, I had configured my settings.cfg file with version 5.1 to then use it with version 5.5
Hello ty so i just need to use 5.1 then set my save setting on that then go back to tye newest one btw do u need a bios to save or load a game and how do u save or load a save file in the emulator pls answer this

It dint work 5.5 is broken for the bios pls flubba fix tgis and add slot 2 expansion for the 2 games to load on the ds phat and light

I don't think so, I think for this emulator the bios is just requierd for compatibility
about load & save state, to be honest, I never use this options, why ? Because old school is beautiful !
More seriously I don't use load & save so it could be better for you to ask someone else than me.
FluBBa has just added slot 2 expansion for Nitroswan, enjoy this for the moment, tests and feedbacks are important, he is already informed of the request and I am almost sure that he will upgrade his emulator when he can, it is not necessary to ask for it in each post

Hey bro how to save in the games for the ngpds i dont see the save file in my npds folder

You may need to save manually in the emulator's menu, after saving in the game itself.
Bruh so thats why i dint load up a save it not the .fla extension how about on wonderswab wuts the save file extension like

Touch the bottom screen and find the option which saves the game data. idk what it's called though, so that's as far as I'll help.

I just compiled version 5.6, and maybe I missed something but if I set the machine type configuration on NeoGeo Pocket Color in order to have compatibility with color games and black games and white, when I save my settings on restart, the emulator automatically returns to an "auto" machine selection mode giving (it seems) priority to black and white games which has the consequence of crashing the color games If we don't go through a configuration phase before launching them, is this normal or am I missing something?
Otherwise, I tested the saving and loading system for the games, I did not encounter any particular sound problems but perhaps I should push my tests a little further, 2 games in test for the backup system is a little short, I'm going to push my tests a little further
Edit : I have just finished my testing session with a good number of ROMs which work on DS Lite, for the backup system everything is ok, the most destabilizing thing was the settings if I determined a bios when in reality defining a bios with this new version has really become optional, the emulator offers a really very good rendering without having to load a bios, it's really great, it simplifies things enormously, the only small flaw that there could be and even that is really ridiculous, it happens from time to time that the emulator crashes after loading several games one after the other but it's so rare that it's insignificant, well done Fred ! This v056 is very good work, thanks dude

I compiled the last version (23/11/15) and WOW ! So great to play metal slug 2, SNK vs Capcom (the fighting game) !
I've tested some other games everything seems to work fine, I've just noticed some litte things here and there :
SNK vs Capcom (the card game) the patched version don't work after intro but it seems to be linked to the patch, it works with the v056 precedent (the one without the slot-2 option) but with this new version there is a black screen which apairs after intro when I press A to begin the game.
Edit : problem fixed when the bios is loaded, very cool idea to dissociate bios for ngp & ngpc
Metal slug 2nd mission has some sounds cuts when I pick up new weapons
Otherwise i've tested other patched games, homebrews games & normal games, everything seems to be ok, I'll push my test with all my romset and give you my feedback later
