The WiiU Homebrew Scene is on fire! Thank you, V10lator!
Little did I know how comfortable the WiiU would get to use for a mere user when Aroma was published.
Homebrewers do what Nindendont (lame pun but true). What a great console!

edit:
tested it: WiiSXRX / WiiStation start overclocked; and it does not conflict with, e.g., GameCube VC Injects (iirc, the latter booted into a black screen when c2w patcher had been applied before).

I don't particularly use VC injets. But I tested Wii64 and WiiStation and they both worked! The only thing I would ask is maybe put in the readme where to place the plugin. It took me a minute or two to figure it out on my own. Thanks for making this dude!

I hope that in the future this can be improved to have performance gains in Wii games, with improvements in FPS.
in the same way that Nintendont does in cube games

Nice, this is the first Aroma plugin that genuinely has me wanting to move to the environment from Tiramisu (with my Amiiqo, I have no real use for the Amiibo emulation plugin, so that one hasn't tempted me). But the cons still outweigh the pros for me. Primarily how you can't have a separate dedicated homebrew channel anymore, and all your homebrew either populates the menu or you can disable it from appearing entirely. And there are only 2 real apps I ever need to make use of overclocking the vWii anyway, being WiiSXRX and Wii64 Rice, so it's not like it's all that big of a deal to launch my dedicated overclock app channel before launching either of those homebrew channels. Still you've raised my eyebrow here haha. I dunno if some sort of homebrew channel alternative is in the works for Aroma, or if that is even feasible, but should that day ever come, this will be the first plugin I take advantage of when I finally move to Aroma.

Oooh, nice! Was hoping for something like this to circumvent needing to use c2w on each boot.
Though it says "Apply to MLC only" on the Github download page, what does that mean? Is it that the patch only applies to applications installed on internal memory?
Moments like these make me wish I bought a Wii U Deluxe used like I did with my old one before I sold it...

Hi, when I first made the switch to aroma I could see the c2w patcher plugin in the list of plugins but I disabled any plugins I wasn’t using including c2w patcher and now I can’t seem to see c2w patcher on the plugin list???
It’s still on the SD card though, anyone else have a similar issue?

Yes but this was true for all c2w patchers in the past, too. The USB drive simply isn't mounted when the c2w image gets loaded, so it's impossible to redirect to that.

How do I rever the changes of this program btw?
You simply delete the .wps file from your SD card.

The plugin isn't appearing in the Aroma Plugin menu.
Because it doesn't have nor need any kind of configuration.

Hi there, I wanted to thank you for your hard work as this is one of the main reasons I switched to aroma.

I have some wii Homebrew that ive added overclocking/c2w patch via teconmoon injector. They are the usual emulators - wiisxrx (wiistation in my case), wii64/not64, along with some mame ones. Ive also made single rom injections for select games as well. When i test all of these, they appear to run at full speed, with very minor glitches in the case of nba hangtime mame (still 90-95% playable).

My questions are,
1) do these emulators already appear for some kind of configuration for the aroma plugin?
2) as i create more stuff in the future with the c2w patch applied, will the aroma plugin work with these, or will i need to update some kind of configuration? (Ie, the patcher would check against something to see if that c2w/starbuck key is present).

Thanks again.

There is no configuration whatsoever at the plugin.
2) as i create more stuff in the future with the c2w patch applied, will the aroma plugin work with these
Yes it will. Teconmoon's injector places a file into the titles code folder (a patched c2w.img containing the overclock). Now whenever you launch a title the plugin checks:
1) If ithe title to launch is installed to NAND (that's needed as the USB drive seems to be unmounted while the firmware tries to load the c2w.img file).
2) If a c2w.img file is present in the titles code folder.

If (and only if) these two conditions are true it applies patches to load the c2w.img file from the titles code folder instead of from the firmware.
