send money and weapons to nazis [...] Azov.. nazis [...] I'm not the one supporting nazis [...] for your nazi Asov friends [...] I would not fight to defend a nazi
Man, you are walking definition of schizofascist, this is just shameful.

"Because Mr. Putin speaks of fascists as the enemy, we might find it hard to grasp that he could in fact be fascist. But in Russia’s war on Ukraine, “Nazi” just means “subhuman enemy”— someone Russians can kill. Hate speech directed at Ukrainians makes it easier to murder them, as we see in Bucha, Mariupol and every part of Ukraine that has been under Russian occupation. Mass graves are not some accident of war, but an expected consequence of a fascist war of destruction.

Fascists calling other people “fascists” is fascism taken to its illogical extreme as a cult of unreason. It is a final point where hate speech inverts reality and propaganda is pure insistence. It is the apogee of will over thought. Calling others fascists while being a fascist is the essential Putinist practice. Jason Stanley, an American philosopher, calls it “undermining propaganda.” I have called it “schizofascism.” The Ukrainians have the most elegant formulation. They call it “ruscism.”

for me, since that ultra unfair and imperialist Joe Biden speech over Afghanistan defeat I realized that people here on Latin America who claim that the USA is a single party regime disguised were not wrong at all. Both parties are so fucking similar, defending the very same social segments, with the same aggressive imperialist behavior.

Before the election I was naively expecting that the World would end up more united with the blessing of the all might USA, but no, it's getting worse year after year since forever. They are poking China now, so when the Ukraine war overs (hopefully soon), USA already has another war to sponsor.

It's sad, because I always liked US Democracy internally, the thought was: "they bring hell to every corner of the World, but inside it is a democratic heaven". Turns out it's not really a democracy, but the heaven part is real, it just is highly dependent of your income, color, gender and sexual orientation.
We've been ruled by a uniparty for a very long time. The thing that is becoming obvious is that they are not even the ones in charge or even making the decisions. The uniparty politicians we see on TV along with their TV generals are just midlevel managers taking orders from elsewhere. That's why there was no difference between W Bush and Obama. They both started wars and our debt grew under both parties.

I'm glad people are starting to realize that the US is not a democracy. It never has been, but it is corrupt here, probably more so than Ukraine and becoming more authoritarian than the CCP. And there are people here who say it hasn't gone far enough and that the cure for the world's ills is a nuclear World War III over land. Just land, and their pride.

Don’t even try to fool me, you silly, its crystal clear that if Azov really were evil nazi death squad, you would be rooting for them 24/7 for free) btw, why are using 5-year old muddy article with old logo and remain silent about current state of things.

Factbox: Last defenders of Mariupol: what is Ukraine's Azov Regiment?

Also feel free to inform me about any other historical events that I myself was witness or participant.

But why are you the one defending them instead of me. So weird.

You can search for Azov battalion nazi tattoos yourself. Those aren't symbols average peace loving people tend to permanently ink onto their bodies.

I was in Iraq, a smaller country than Ukraine, and I didn't witness the entire war. You are not witnessing this entire war either.

Anyone else notice how the right wing criticism of the Ukraine shit is that imperialism is okay?
Yeah anti-US sentiment is one thing, plenty of imperialism and war crimes committed by us over the centuries, but attempting to hold up countries like Russia and North Korea as paragons of trustworthiness and integrity instead amounts to nothing more than a bad joke.

is the UN an ally? did your guys publish dozens are articles about the ukraine being corrupt?
I'm sure that there have been a LOT of corrupt dealings within the country. I'm not as much pro Ukraine as I am anti-Putin. Anyone willing to put him in his place is good in my books. Since the war has begun, 27 Russian oligarchs that have questioned him have "mysteriously" been killed.

240,000+ locals were killed, lots of those were civilians (40,000+) and lots were CIA contractors fighting for USA (and militias armed by CIA), aka allies. The 2021 Afghan government were US allied. After piles of body USA said: "nah... it's too expansive, we're out, let's make a speech blaming the victims, pretend that we did lot lose and call it a day".

Now Putin is doing the same on Ukraine, but wait! Its not the same at all, now it is not the USA the aggressor, so its totally outrageous from day 1. Oh, and yeah, Russia is loosing badly too, it will run out supplies "next week" since January 2022. If you disagree, is because of the fabulous Russian propaganda, that, as we all know, is the great world power in marketing and advertisement.
Yep, all a giant cluster-f***. I missed the part where I agreed with the whole thing. I'm just happy that it's all over (That is, until the next country tries to go into that country again). There's a whole history of countries doing dumb crap. Which is why it was so funny to see that "tosser", MrDude, try to attempt to drum up sympathy for the UK holding the shit-end of the stick. The atrocities that the UK have been responsible for across the world make Afghanistan look like a tea party.

Me believing that Russia is losing is based solely on the fact that their main military was decimated to the point that they had to rely on criminals and conscripts to support it. That alone is not a great sign.

Correct, they're all victims of Putin first and foremost. He's putting all of them in a situation they needn't be in, solely for selfish and degenerate reasons. Over a hundred thousand Russians (mostly ethnic minorities) dead to the meatgrinder, and over a hundred thousand that have fled their home country to avoid Putin's draft. Given the vast number of refugees from both nations, he's caused an international incident which has consequences that reach far beyond the borders of Russia and Ukraine alone. Yet some people foolishly still wonder why the West feels the need to get involved, even indirectly.
If I remember correctly, the same was said of Saddam Hussein, providing further justification for the Iraq invasion. He was deposed, though Iraq is less stable now than it was under Saddam's rule. Contrary to warmongering US propaganda, the consequential alternative to a tyrannical dictator is not necessarily a net benefit for the people. Recent history still provides supporting evidence for the position that US involvement (Remember ISIS in Syria?) in such conflicts yields more suffering for those people, hence the skepticism regarding the benefit of US involvement, direct and indirect, in the Ukraine-Russia War.

Send in what? An army? As I mentioned earlier, sending over aid is the best possible situation for Biden.

If he sent over the military, the GOP would see dead US soldiers and use it for political gain. Doing nothing would also be used as a political GOP tool to say that he was weak. So far, the aid from multiple countries has been very successful at stopping Russia.

Apples and oranges. Nobody invaded Russia, they invaded Ukraine knowing full well the West would not stand for it. Putin put himself and his nation in an untenable situation; sometimes the trash decides to take itself out.

Like, I don't want us involved in the Ukraine shit either, but it's either let Russia imperialize unchecked into Europe after we've pledged support for them in the past, or we just do something about it. Besides, the US isn't ignoring Ukraine over everything else, the right is just upset that they aren't getting their way and are using the funding for Ukraine as a scapegoat for the fact they're really just mad Biden isn't being Trump 2 or Reagan 2.

Not that I give much of a fuck, I'm moving to Europe because of this unhinged country.

That was quite the run-on sentence! You don't want him doxxed, so you don't want to use his own username? Alright.... Don't worry, he doesn't live in Texas. I'm sure he's the first to tell you that he's a gun nut as well.

Yeah they're mad the fascist dictator isn't getting his way, that's all it boils down to. If they truly believed Putin had a single communist bone in his body, they'd have no qualms about calling for his head on a pike.

Let me correct you, the British Empire is/was not the UK. Secondly - you're welcome. A small island nation managed to have the largest empire the world has ever known. We have spread our democracy, technical advances & inventions, ended slavery, modernised the world and of course - we did give you the language you are responding in. We also helped free the world twice from tyranny in the last two world wars, however we are now overrun by migrants, weak politicians and weird blue haired woke femists and effiminate men (in England). Luckily the people in Scotland/Northern Ireland and Wales are still mostly mental and non-effiminate (including the women), so we are still able to kick your arse when we want. Also do you know how big the commonwealth still is? we still have a lot of political clout, financial clout, and manpower as well as technical knowledge. The reason we were so succesfull in defeating a huge part of the world is because we are realists, we don't have a group think mentality and are able to think for ourselves. Also as much as it pains some - white people are just good fighters and tacticians and generally highly intelligent and that's why western nations are so much more advanced and hold more power compared to the other parts of the world - you're welcome for all of that, no thanks is required.

So you criticize American imperialism and celebrate British/Russian imperialism, got it. At least you're willing to own your hypocrisy, which is more than I can say about a lot of other conservatives on this subforum.
