DS/DSi Connect to the internet using windows 10/11 (easy)

It's very simple, the requirements are: A computer (OS windows), a phone and Nintendo DS/DSi.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Activate hotspot mobile on windows: Settings --> Network and internet --> Hotspot Mobile.
Put the password you want.

2) Now go to your phone and connect to the hotspot pc.

3) Now turn on the phone hotspot and leave the password field blank.

4 )Now on your nintendo connect to your phone's hotspot.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This worked for me, it also connects me to Wiimmfi.

I hope I was clear and I hope I have helped someone.

Couldn't the same result be achieved by just having the phone connect to your access point, and then hosting the hotspot using that access point?
The requirement of a phone seems to defeat the point of using Windows to create a hotspot.
Would be preferable if Windows itself could host a WEP/Open hotspot, where only Linux and macOS can do so.

Some newer phones dont allow repeating a WiFi connection (mine, as soon as I enable the option to use the phone as an access point it disconnects from WiFi and use only 4G) and many others simply hide any settings that can be deemed "unsafe" so they lock the option to create hotspots with WEP encryption.

Mine could work, as it can actually repeat my Wi-Fi connection when I have issues (I'm using a OnePlus 8 Pro), and indeed I didn't thought I could do that to make my NDS connect to the Internet.

The only issue is that I'll need to create a secondary Wi-Fi connection inside my phone, since I also have certain usages with my 4G connection for my laptop...

any hotspot program that supports web key because i don't have a cell phone

edit: Thank you, it will help me if I use Linux, I use Windows 7 and the laptop I use is not mine, it belongs to a relative and it does not let me do so many things that change the PC, you will not have any homebrew or way to do it in windows 7, be it with programs or some configuration thanks

Simply put, without going into detail - with windows 7 (at least) and higher such tricks are no longer possible.
All that is called "3rd Party SoftAPs" in these OSes is just a nice "3rd Party GUI", and the actual work of SoftAP is done by the operating system itself and the network device drivers.
For obvious reasons (the traditional helplessness of Windowses against everything imaginable), Plain and WEP modes are completely disabled at the system (and drivers) level.
It is theoretically possible to cheat the system about it, but: 1. it depends on the network hardware and may not work at all, 2. it involves playing with custom/ancient drivers, 3. it may end up having to fix the OS or even reinstall it.
An option would be to install a virtual machine and install either an ancient version of Windows OS - for example Windows XP (which without a license would be piracy) into it, or the same scary and incomprehensible penguin breeding ground called Linux.
Edit: Or get a fairly ancient hardware router that can make a WEP network. Although since it is not known how you get internets at all, this can also be a "problematic" solution.

Well, in the case of having a cell phone, an app to create a Wi-Fi network, taking into account that the Wi-Fi zone of some phones does not allow internet sharing at all, but rather they share data. signal in the case of those phones that do not share the Internet without a data signal. any recommended app to share internet without data

If the terms of the contract do not imply Internet sharing or it is prohibited, then it is pointless to try to "cheat" it.
Plans where Internet sharing is not provided (prohibited) are cheaper, and it's for a reason.
The staff of the cellular operator are not the idiots first day in the business and all the super-smart crafty tricks with TTL change/fixing, IMEI spoofing, traffic encryption and so on will not work.
All of this is monitored and perfectly visible for operator (for example, when the cellphone is trying to access addresses which cellphones do not tend to visit or used ports are not appropriate for "usual" cellphone activity).
At best, connections will be blocked. At worst, you will be billed for a more expensive plan, one that allows internet sharing.

My phone plan doesn't allow me to use hotspots, i'd have to pay extra for that. I had no idea that I could make hotspots from my computer, thanks!

I think the easiest and best way would be to get your hands on an old router, config the router with the low WEP Wifi Security the Nintendo DS/DSi requires and you're done.
If you want to use your DSi for Internet Browsing flip the Switch on the Router and your good to go, if you're done just turn it off.
The advantage of an old (any) router is that you can use MAC filter to compensate for the weakness of WEP and you can get them as low as free.
And if you don't want to flip a switch you can use those remote power sockets that you can turn ON/OFF with a remote.

Good morning, leaving aside the access point, could I transfer the screen from the dsi to the pc with any application without any type of modification?

My Iphone won't let me set up a hotspot with no password, it requires one. Can't we just like find a 3rd party app like RocketRobz said where you can change it so there is no password.
