For the Salary - Max gets 51 Millionen Euro for this Year....I mean...for that a "Safety Formula 1 League" ?
Safety should always come first in Formula 1 above everything else.

As for Max and his wages yes he is being massively overpaid concidering he has only won 1 world championship :)

Not necessarily.:rofl2:

But,yes,Races like from that Time Period.❤️❤️❤️❤️

I can't watch an old race, even from the late 2000s, without flinching all the way through it; whether it be because cars still racing at full speed while there's recovery vehicles trackside, or drivers going off and straight back on to the track directly into traffic, or some other craziness...

I can understand that very well.
Sometimes it might be better if you hadn't / never seen certain things.
(such as the Youtube Videos of Jules Bianchi Accident).

Maybe I'm too hardened, for whatever Reason.
I saw Lauda's accident at the age of 6, Tom Pryce's at the age of 7,
and Ronnie Peterson's accident at the age of 8 live, of course.
All the newspaper reports etc.
I saw Paletti's accident live, the Zolder 81 disaster weekend, Villeneuve's Zolder accident and of course all 3 accidents at Imola 94 Live.
I saw the Pironi and DeAngelis wrecks on TV back then.

In recent years, earlier accidents have also been shown on YouTube.
All I can tell you is these drivers were all aware of what they were doing and what could happen.
Of course, this sport is not meant to be deadly.
But he has lost all of his appeal and charisma.
Accidents like that from Guanyu Zhou evoke almost no emotion from me, because I know nothing will happen, no matter how wild it looks.
Am I a callous person because of that? I don't know, can't judge.

What I do know is that motorsport is always a dangerous sometimes deadly sport.
And no computer game.
And THIS should just be realized by a Verstappen a Hamilton and colleagues with all the money they collect for their job.
And don't act so disrespectfully with each other !
Those responsible for Formula 1 should also look into themselves and think about why Formula 1 no longer has the appeal it used to have.
Not because people aren't dying anymore, but because respect for this sport has been lost.

And the overwhelming security is largely to blame for this.

(Hopefully nothing is lost with that bloody Google Translation).

Formula One is more popular now than it ever has been...
Maybe on your Side of the World.😉👍

In Germany and Austria - not really longer.
Germany has the first Year with no Formula 1 Broadcasts in Free TV !
Ah,sorry, for Austria, the Popularity is more because of the "nice" Verstappen Fans.....🙄

I was talking globally.

If Verstappen weren't the polarizing driving Force, the Interest in Europe (except maybe in the UK ,Spain and France because they have great Drivers ) would quite likely be even less....😢

Without German Tracks and Drivers (sorry, but Hulk is maybe not really a Champion Driver...) they surely lost many Fans from there. And as said,no longer Free TV Formula 1 Broadcasting in 2023

And Austria´s F1 Fans wouldn't be there without Red Bull & Verstappen either...pretty sure. And at some Point the "Greens" will want to "ban car racing" here too... As was the case once before in Austria.

Italy - hmm.....same as maybe Moto GP - Fans yes,but the Teams / Drivers are more likely to be found outside of the Top 3.🤔

For the Rest of Europe.....I can´t say,but I think there might be more interest in Sports other than Formula 1.

BUT I think America is "back" on the Way to "like" Formula 1 - with 3 (+3) Tracks and (maybe) Andretti on the Way.❤️👌

And if the cars were horses everything would be even less appealing.

But they're not. So, just like the entirety of your post, it isn't relevant.

Verstappen will be Formula 1 World Champion 2023.
Other Opinions or Options ?
Duuuh...knew that since Monaco when my guy Sergio Perez started to buckle under the pressure.

Realistically Verstappen is on another level, expect another 7 time champion ala Schumacher or Hamilton. Max is not a likeable character but the mo-fo can drive.

Maybe Ferrari will stop shooting themselves in the foot and LeClerc will challenge Max, but that's a dream, I don't see it happening with Ferrari, am Ferrari for life BTW and I haven't watched an F1 race since Schumi's last championship mainly because Scuderia suck balls.

Do y'all think that next season's drivers will be the same one as last season's? I only think that....
Shaping up that way, most teams have announced same driver line-up...surprisingly Logan Sergeant staying at Williams alongside Albon, also Dan Riccardo instead of the promising Liam Lawson joins Yuki at Torro Rosso.

You guys seen the news?

Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari....
Seen the rumors also but I don't see either LeClerc or Hamilton playing second bitch, definitely a recipe for disaster and a repeat of the Hamilton vs Nico Rosberg fiasco... imo I don't see Ferrari putting themselves in that situation.
