why is the introduction elevating his heart? i triggered a muffy event and is elevated hers so Rock is clearly a heart event

The patch is just changing the japanese language to english. They didn't add anything new between jp to en, it's the exact same game but translated. Not like rune factory where it was added later - even better! This was clearly a decision coming from a long time ago, you can check any of the previous trailers or hints on twitter
They tested the waters plenty of times in previous games to know adding this mechanic won't bother anyone who matters in the 2020s
That one's called friendship! When you meet someone and have a pleasant interaction, sometimes they like you a little bit more. I can see why you might not be familiar though
While you only have maybe one single heart, they only know of you as some guy who lives at the farm. Don't worry, that small boost to his heart meter doesn't mean he wants to bone you
can you haggle with van in this version? i tried doing but because of the text cut off issue i couldnt tell
the same can be applied to you as well as the rest who agree with your opinion there.And if he feels this way he is free to try to create a removal patch himself, if its such a big issue then itll be a good use of time instead of asking here
with that being stated val has every right to make requests, or ask stuff like that, doesn't do any harm to anybody at all, since you got what you wanted - it's in the base game itself, - val can try to get what they want as a mod by asking or requesting whomever takes the request - not a huge deal.

What if the font is changing? It can fit in the box?
It's likely they not use 1 file font setting for japanese language and they using manual setting to set the size and position of the text......really smart move from marvelous, so anyone can't change their file
I just find it weird how I can’t find the font settings anywhere. Just what the font they used. I mean, there has to be a code somewhere for the sizing…
Moreover, I just hate how they aren’t mod friendly when the mod community could make this game so much more active.
would editing this change the pronoun thing in the opening? Do you know make it more like the Japanese one that states choose your sex instead of pronouns?

I believe that can be done, you just need to mess with the files inside the issue is that since there isn't a proper tool from what i know, to open up this type of files in general, it's gonna be a difficult request to make unless someone finds a way to open the files the very specific ones that contain the main menu text you are pretty much on hold just like the rest of us.
Yes I know some folks managed to open it up but those are for the dialogue; I am trying to just recolor my character and remove the ugly pants off of my character to get a skirt but sadly I can't do that cause again it's lzs files x.x.

yes you can, just increase van Friend point to 45% or more, so u can haggle with van, but i recomend to use japanese cause u must see the amount total of ur goodscan you haggle with van in this version? i tried doing but because of the text cut off issue i couldnt tell

please indulge my curiosity on this. In the same way you can make the game play in English because of this patch to use the English translation that is in the files would something like be possible with the Japanese version of Rune Factory 5?

YUZU USER MINI GUIDE:
1. Right click game in Yuzu list and choose "Open Mod Data Location." Folder will be like "AppData\Roaming\yuzu\load\
0100936018EB4000"
2. Extract the zip file and place the patch in this folder.
3. Right click game in Yuzu list again and choose "Properties." You should see it already checked in the window. "patch | LayeredFS"
4. Make sure it is checked, hit OK and then run the game as normal.

There are other languages available as well; download the patch.7z for the English patch and the Patch Creation.7z for other languages. Make sure to read the steps in readme.
