I've always wanted to know why people do this. Is it to make space for more romz?I have a trip back and checked my new 3ds xl and playing it smoothly until i launched in system settings and saw this. After talked with my younger brother he told me he just wanted to check some games on fbi and delete somes and he thought the red titles type NAND are trashes so he deleted some of it

What exactly did you try? When are you getting the black screen? Please try to be descriptive.
If you followed https://3ds.guide when you hacked your 3DS, then one of the steps there involves making a NAND backup. (It's a rather gigantic file; it's difficult to miss.) If you followed some miscellaneous Youtube video, then you might not have done that.
