Bans Still happening in 2023?

Not that i know of, but if it's an account that you care about, you own a decent library of games and you use it on ps4/ps5, i wouldn't recommend doing that, specially if you're playing pirated games. Technically, disabling HEN /or not enabling it when you first turn on the system, then syncing trophies quickly and logging out, shouldn't be too risky. also it's better to do it less, every once in a while to limit exposure/activity/ notice.
Though still not worth it if you're using this same account on ps5/4, cause if you somehow get banned on that account, the ps3 and probably the other systems will be too..

Again, if you won't be playing pirated games with that account, having hen will not get your account banned. Just make sure hen is not enabled, when you sync trophies.
Playing pirated games doesn't matter. Sony also bans if you use unauthorized software, so you could be legit, just using homebrew for small things. Bam, both system and account banned.

i have a 2 ps3 consoles
one of them is original and the other is cfw
my cfw have a heating problem and an HDMI flickering problem
i changed the past and changed the fan but the problem still going on
i only want to play my offline games and then sync the save data and trophies online
my questions is
1- if i backed up the cfw ps3 to external hdd then restore it to another ps3 will it work fine and will the cfw still working or i have to install it again?
2- is cfw better or hen for what i want? i only want to play my hacked games on the ps3 then upload the save data and trophies online ?
my games are
tales of gracess
tales of xillia 1 + 2
i have an original copy of the games but are all English dub
while the hacked games are Japanese dub and that is very important to me

You'd need to install cfw on the other ps3 too.
Cfw means that once you install it you can play disc backups etc. even after you turn off the ps3. but with HEN you need to "enable HEN" every time after booting the ps3, in order to play your backup games.
Also not all ps3 slims can install cfw..
Both will do.
What if I Jailbroke my PS3 just to bypass the hardware check(BD) but I still only play my own games I have on my account?
There's that possibility, but I'd never use my PSN account as I have it since 2009, I think. I quite cherish it.
Anyway, with CFW I don't need online play, I prefer just to mess around in GTA V.

iirc also as god reborn said accounts are banned too (and any system hacked or legit) that account is tied too even a legit ps5 will be banned if you have a banned account on it (really sucks if you went the all digital-only route) which is why you should remove all shared accounts on your ps3/ps4/vita's you plan to hack to prevent legit systems from being banned too
