You might have an issue of some sort. LOL

seriously though…got any pics of your collection?
Lol one day I'll take a collection pic. Everything is spread around the house. BTW I forget to mention the 4 sets of GameCube styled Joycons from a different company. They held up OK but the Nyxi Joycons will be far superior.

2-3 months, ouch! Last week I did the whole "put money where mouth" thing. I've been saying for months that I'd gladly pay for a GameCube styled controller that was elite or damn near close. Shit I'd pay Nyxi 90 if they could cram in analog triggers, NFC and a headphone jack. I only game with GameCube styled controllers. I have 28 of various types for Wii, Wii U, Switch and my Steam Deck.
Bro I would pay 90 if it had HD rumble!

Interesting, have you used it? Can't find any review/comparison of the rumble compared to Nintendo's.
That I have not, The only reason I know about it is because I kept asking Gulikit if they could add HD rumble to their King Kong pro 2. They told me this one has it, wish other 4th party controller makers used it.

Got my Wizard today! It's lovely! The face buttons could be raised a tad and some clickyness would be appreciated. Overall it's exactly what I paid for and compared to my previous GameCube Joycons, it's night and day!

How are you Y and A button? My are too flushed with the controller and I can't press them both at the same time without pressing the hard plastic too. I emailed NYXI asking if they could send me taller buttons, aside from that the controller is perfect!

I hope they make taller buttons for us to replace, I don't want to return my joycons, love them too much!!

do they look like standard buttons? Said differently...do you think can they be simply swapped out w/ something off the shelf?

I can push (A) and (Y) fairly well. I agree that the buttons need a little more height. They're not as flush as my old GameCube Joycons but the buttons are not as high as my PowerA GameCube styled controller.

I don't think the buttons can be swapped with standard GameCube buttons.

Overall the biggest flaw with this controller is the face button height. If Nyxi could manage to fix that, add NFC and analog triggers to the existing product, I'd be happy to pay 90 for the JoyCon variant and 70 for a non JoyCon version. We're so close to having a GameCube styled elite controller 😍.

I was all like, meh just another GC controller clone…until they slid them apart and clicked them onto the Switch rails.

Wow!

Want
And then it got to the rear trigger going clicky clicky, me =:whip:

Another failed analog trigger attempt grrrrrr...

Damn, your Switch2 is completely ruined :toot: (Pink SteamDeck).

I had mine ready last summer but payment day = instructions unclear and ended up with a used I7 8700K based PC, it's not very handheld friendly

So many “close but not quite” things coming out lately.

I still like the look of this one. Probably going to pick one up when the come back in stock. I’m not a pro-enough gamer to notice the nuance.

It makes me pissed Nintendo vs analog triggers... It ruined the entire racing library for me which in fact is even missing probably because of having no analog triggers.

Last time I was smashing buttons for accelerator was like PS1 and even that I think the digital buttons were already pressure sensitive though I might be wrong.

After PS1 I jumped to dreamcast, then Xbox Original (with the proper smaller good controller from day one), then Xbox360...

But best deal ever for me was this:
Xbox-360-Wirele-Controller-Halo-4-Limited-Edition.jpg

Basically it's a true official Xbox360 controller and was even cheaper than just the black one and even came with some Gears game for Xbox 360 for less price than a normal controller was like 40 something € in promotion B-)

And it's one of those that the D-pad rotates making into the cross or full circle despite not changing much the feeling sadly...

Edit: this is actually it
IMG_20230129_025855.jpg
(It's still brand new despite having it for so many years back when 360 was last gen, it has 0 use despite the joystick looking ugly, that's just my anti-wear protection of super glue and my phone's flash making it look strange :D )

This controller looks sweeeeet!

I've preordered it, because I missed the first batch. U_U

New Year Chinese celebrations are on, so Nyxi will start shipping until the end of January. But for this preorder, it might take at least two or three months until then.
