then I leave it like this the 8 gb pendrive in MBR
if i want to connect an external hdd of 8 tb i convert it to GPT
the ps4 reads external hdds up to 8 tb
before preparing the pendrive I did nothing
I just formatted it in exfat
allocation size I think it was 32 kb
i clouster i don't know if i have to do something and i don't know what i am
then there's mrb which I don't know what it is
if there is anything else I don't know
i did the quick format and then prepared it with win32 and wrote the exfathack pico file in it
I have no experience with the exfat pico file, asks in the ps4 exploit guide thread.
You don't need to format the pen drive manually. When you write the img file with etcher it will do it for you.
At least that's been my experience with any writing img files to a usb stick
like I said I have no experience with that so I can't help you with that, that why I said asks in the PS4 exploit guide.
I want to partition the pendrive
maybe if the second partition is in fat 32 the ps4 has problems and shuts down many times by itself happened to me
must be exfat the second partition so the pendrive is readable
It's not an option when using etcher. That's why the guide says it must be a dedicated pen drive that you can only use on the ps4 with the exploit.
From the guide:
"You will need a dedicated USB stick with the EXFATHAX *.IMGimaged onto it in order to exploit 9.00 firmware:"
I the pendrive which is 8 gb I can use it on pc as well and it is no longer sacrificed for ps4
today I did a great thing
I downloaded a program and the crack
I partitioned the pendrive
the second partition i formatted it in exfat
finally i did the scandisk
i don't know what i did
i did the scandisk to the second partition or to all 2 partitions to the whole pendrive?
after that i used the ps4 and it didn't give me any problems for the first time
I did the scandisk normally without a program
right click properties
the pendrive is readable again and I make the change too
