I have found out how to copy games from xbla
step 1. download ur desired game from marketplace the game must be the full game demos will not work
step 2. copy the game to usb and insert to computer
step 3. open horizon select device explorer select games click the game you want then right click and extract
step 4. go to where the game is copy the game folder
step 5. insert blank DVD-R create a folder named Content this folder is where the game is gonna go
step 6. click the folder "Content" once you are in that folder paste the game files you copied
step 7. burn the files to disc
step 8. delete the copy of the game on the xbox
***TROUBLESHOOTING***
if the xbox says mixed media disc go to my games and look for ur game

Demos will work for this, they will just appear as demos. Most XBLA demos are also the full game but not yet unlocked if you did want something to feed your JTAG/RGH machine.
Anyway yeah if you wanted to save some space and not use a USB drive I guess that would be a workflow you could use. It will still need your stock machine account to have access to the game if you want the full version.

yeah, I'm pretty sure the reason xexmenu works like it does is because it's a demo. demos show up as half a controller iirc, and although xexmenu won't work with a stock system, the jtag/rgh takes care of the demo for you, so the drive doesn't need to be flashed.

I did this before. Burned an XBLA demo of DOOM onto a CD-R and was able to play it perfectly on my Xbox 360. Was curious if it is possible to inject a custom WAD into the demo, I doubt that you can seeing as executables are signed.

if you mean on a stock system, it wouldn't work. demos work with stock though. they're probably not signed or something. I think unlocking games are due to yaris, which got like 1 or 2 in reviews. haha. however, it was free, so I think the headers are swapped with yaris. micorosft pulled the game, but then it was too late.

Correction: YarisSwap is a utility, not an Xbox 360 game.

Signatures will get in the way and I doubt this would fall under anything of the old LIVE2CON stuff, also I did not go that way but had some trouble injecting the WADs from the XBLA versions (they had a few more levels, technically then making them official new levels) into more fussy versions of Doom as they were a bit non standard (missing title screens if memory serves) so be aware of that one as well.

So the (burned) full xbla game has to be signed to that system (and your profile) otherwise it won't work? Pretty useless i'd say.

You mean it works with pirated xbla files downloaded from the internet? Have you attempted this or are you hypothesizing?
And I'm talking about full xbla (non-demo) versions.
Yes, I was thinking the same. I suppose you would need an RGH or JTAG'd console for that. Don't know how come the demos don't even require it.

demos are allowed by microsoft. they show half a controller, so you differentiate them. that's why I think xexmenu works without needing a flashed drive, in the stock dash. to play burned games, you still need a flashed drive, which you can easily get the dvd key for.
