Theoretically, how much more would an iPhone cost if produced in the U.S.?

They're made in China and they can cost as much as $1500 so anyone saying it's cheaper, yeah... That's not actually cheap at all for a phone (I'm not even going to get into how restrictive they are).

Plus, a Nintendo Switch OLED costs $350 and this is even worse considering its hardware is from 2017.

Just something interesting to throw out there.

Iphones produced in (L)America would cost the same--we'd just make them with low-quality parts so they break faster, but here's the kicker: the Applecare would go up another $100 or become ultra-tiered. Also expect rhetoric of how no: charger, box, and headphones equates to, "good-for-you-and-the-planet".

There would probably also be a some kind of Hulu w/ads +disney++ESPN9+++++ scheme....ow8.

Pricing. That's what the thread's about.
HW price about the same, use price very much lower for you're not limited much in choice.
So samsung is cheaper in the long run, but you're right they're both shit.
That's the price for not really searching for a good balance but following the larger train of shit.
Android isn't just samsung, android is choice of HW, going main stream means high demand, high production, and so it means high priced.
The only downside to look at the lower brands is that they most likely will not have the gimmics, but they sure have the same power.
So android is open for other brands, mostly opensource, software is cheap, licenses aren't forced, works with almost all standards of data transfer.
Apple on the other hand is mostly demanding other products to be either apple or apple licensed to be compatible, software is closed sourced, works with way less data transfer standards, and you pay at least the same price as for an android.

It's not a new feature anymore, they're on the 4th generation and the price hasn't gone down at all.
It's not a new feature and still apple hasn't got it?
Still what's the HW upgrade on apple?
For you only told that samsung stands strong somehow while HW ain't that new, which can only mean the deal around the device is worth it to a lot of people.
