anyway

I have a switch and current system verison is : 8.0.1
can I do something to it?

Although there are other guides, this should help you.

It's important to backup your nand when you are told to as it makes it easier to recover your switch if something goes wrong. If something does go wrong and you do not have a backup it's possible that your switch cannot be fixed without sending it back for repair. Which you will have to pay for as your warranty will be void as you made unofficial modifications to it.

Using a Reed switch is also an option to have a permanent mod that only temporarily shorts pin 10 when you need it.

Out of all the options, just taking a magnet to the back of the joycon could enable this ? OMG that is the best solution I have seen.

Just wondering, if you were playing with the system and pins 1 and 10 got connected (some type of magnet in a pocket), would this cause any harm ?

Please consider adding the metal from a twist tie as a possible alternative to the paper clip. I had lots of trouble with even a small paper clip, but the twist tie worked on the first try!

My paper clip method just works for me. No long noses, just used 1 clip, 1 thick plastic case, and 1 hardened table.
(Please check out the comment 124 of the paperclip method url)

Booted into RCM but shame it was battery-enhanced model (= patched) with serial starting with XKK. The app crashed with code NULL.

Thank you for your information. Would you happen to know the best way to backup the NAND in Fusee-Gelle?

Use "hekake" to backup your NAND.

Don't know about your post, sorry.

So I have atmosphere currently running. I don't see how to actually access "hekake" from here. Do I need to reinject things from my computer?
You can use "TegraInjectorGUI" to inject the payload or use an RCM Loader.

Right, so I HAVE to reinject and cannot do it from the current atmosphere menu?
You can do it from Atmosphere also.

Ata cable didn't work.
Buy a moulded jig like everybody else, they also use the right type of wire thickness to shorten the pins. The paperclip, screwdriver, SATA cable, amongst many other methods are very risky, and if done wrong can damage your JoyCon port.

Whoops, I mean hekake. My apologies, was thinking of another thing entirely. Copy the payloads to the "bootloader/payloads" directory on the root of your SD card, launch "hekake" and select 'Payloads' from the menu.

Thanks for your info.

Do you know how I can install a 6GB NSP file? I cannot transfer it to an FAT32 SD card.

I also can't install tinfoil.

You can use "DBI Installer" to install NSPs from over the network.

If I were to do this for a Nintendo Switch Lite, how can it be done?
After the V1 got a revision, RCM jig was no longer an option. We now have hardware mods to exploit all handhelds after the v1
EDT: RCM was an exploit utilized to leverage tegra chipset. Chip was changed and so was the attack vector for exploit.
