Since vanced no longer works, is there an alternative to skip ads on YouTube? Thanks.

Vanced no longer works?
I still have it installed and it seems to still work on my end. Maybe it's getting rolled out progressively?

Anyway, I made a post about this some time ago, here's what I wrote:
I did some research, and found some good alternatives (though not as good as Vanced right now):
I'll keep looking for other options, but as of right now, Vanced will keep working for some time.
I think the official statement said that it should still work fine for something around 2 years, but I really hope a good alternative with similar features drops before then, since I do rely on being logged in to YouTube for watching my video subscriptions, and some of these options don't allow for logged in YouTube (I think).

The best bet right now as to something really similar to Vanced, is Revanced Manager.
It's still somewhat finicky to use, but it does the job if you manage to set it up.
It still requires microG from what I know, and you require to download a non-split YouTube apk that is the recommended version listed within the app to get it working for non-root devices. If your device is rooted, then no need to worry about it.

What Vinny said. ReVanced is the new way to use AdBlock and SponsorBlock on the YouTube app.
Instead of distributing the copyrighted application pre-patched, you have to download an APK and patch it yourself. It's more of a hassle to update the app now, but it should be C&D-proof.

I just installed revanced. I have a doctor's appointment in about two or three hours, so I'll give it a thorough test while waiting.

There's Invidious if you're on a computer. It's basically a front end for youtube that blocks ads.
For android there's newpipe. I'm not the biggest fan of the UI/UX, but to save some video's or music for offline it works well

For mobile on the go I've adapted to the open source alternative NewPipe. It works well for what I need to do.
For android TV I use SmartTube. This has sponsorblock built in with it as well

Can vouch for these 2 alternatives

Edit - spelling
