I have not seen a good comedy assassin film for quite a while (might even have been kill me three times https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2393845/ for something I liked or indeed https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1268987/ for something on my list) and this does not look like a classic, though probably enough to watch rather than redoing an old one.

Saw this tonight. It's funny. It doesn't take itself seriously. It is pretty self-aware and doesn't rely too much on pre-existing tropes. It's also pretty unpredictable. The cringiest part is when Brad Pitt says,"I don't even know you!" (two times) but part of me thinks it was intended cringe. Could be me.

It's a fun movie. I'd recommend it to anyone who has a sense of humor.

I rather enjoyed it. At first I thought it rather strange seeing Joey King as one of the main baddies due to the fact she is usually in romcoms/teen dramas. But she did an outstanding job as an evil kickass assassin.

The film had a similar feel/vibe to the old Guy Richie films Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels/Snatch

She made me hate her. That's a good act.

Exactly it's just a shame due to the way the film ended that she won't be in the inevitable sequel.

Personally I can't fathom how a sequel could be made without betraying the source.

The film has made a good amount of money so I would not be surprised if there was one.

I just found it strange that in the book the film is based on the Prince isn't killed at the end but in the film she died at the end. Which also then makes it a huge issue should Kōtarō Isaka decide to write a follow up book as to what to do with the Prince.

Oh wow. I didn't realize there was even a book. I can't imagine how it would read. I want to talk about spoilers, especially the "cameo" part. I know the film had a lot of cameos, but I still think you know what I am talking about. Stealing the show, and not even being in the movie. I don't even know how to describe that.

There are a lot of curious parallels with Brad Pitt's other film, "The Mexican", from twenty years ago. But on the whole I would say this was considerably more entertaining.

Saw it on a flight. A very good entry in the more comedic "assassins in a confined location" genre which surprised me as the trailer did not enthuse so much; a good one of these films really makes the list but they are harder than some think to do well (similar trouble for stoner films). I actually would rewatch it in a year or so.
