Hacking ROM Hack Playing Newer's Another Super Mario 3D via Virtual Console doesn't work

I've been trying to get this ROM hack to work all day on my wii u today, but it just won't work. I even created custom .tga files, but when I start the app I get a DSI Error occured screen. From the Newer Team I also have Newer Super Mario Bros. DS via Virtual Console and it works great with no problems, but nothing works with ASM3D. I am using the PAL version of Super Mario 64 DS and the European patch for it from Newer Team Website. All original files. If anyone knows more about it, please help.

I have seen people also playing it on a wii u, but they are using the NTSC-U version of it. So I can't test it.

I can't send links, but just google "Another Super Mario 3D Newer Team" and you will find the download.

Newer SMB DS has a special version that the Newer Team made to work with Virtual Console, but Another Super Mario 3D doesn’t have this. I can try to make my own injection of the game sometime to see if it works though.
Have you tried using an NTSC version of SM64 DS as your injection base? Sometimes regional versions behave differently when injecting games.

I wonder if there's a site that host all these unoffical DS injested games in wup. I have like hundreds of then in Loadiine format and actually been using NUSpacker to convert some of them. But after 10 or 11 games, it's kinda get old fast.

I will test this later, but thanks for the information. Btw SM64 also uses the USA Rom on PAL Wii U's lol.

I injected the game into the US version of Virtual Console, and while I didn't get a DSi error the game refused to start after the splash screen, resulting in an infinite black loading screen. Tried both SM64 DS versions 1.0 and 1.1 and neither worked. Sorry to keep you waiting for lame results, but it's just another case of Virtual Console DS compatability being bad.

It seems like a lot of DS rom hacks dont work on Wii U, tried CTGP Nitro earlier today and it crashes when you press single player.
