Eveything worked! Finally I made it to the end (almost, still have to install theme)! Thank you all on this forum for being helpful and kind, I wouldve never done it without you all :D
You're welcome. :P

It's better to use the homebrew menu by holding R when starting an NSP than applet mode
Hardly anybody installs an NSP forwarder to the HBC.

If NXDumptool determines that it needs to split it will create xxx.00, xxx.01, etc., etc. there won’t be any hidden files. They will all be in a folder (that will look normal under windows) that simply has the archive but set.
How are you determining space used? Are you sure you are using the same metric? GB != gb

E: I’m dumping my Super Mario Odyssey right now and will walk you through it:

In this image it’s telling me it;s writing the 00 file.

In this one we have moved on to the 01 file.
thanks. Turns out the file were not visible when I was checking using NXMPT, but I could see it now I got the SD card out lol.
but now the problem is, the file I dumped (a trpfs format) is split into a folder format with two files inside. How do I merge them back together again so it becomes a proper trpfs file?

You can simply concatenate them

(You will need to do this on a file system that can handle files > 4GB of course...)

Is there a way to make the User partition of the emuNAND bigger?
provided you have additional disk space as mentioned by @M4x1mumReZ , you can follow @mikefor20 's guide which has a section on (destructively) resizing an emunand using NXNandManager as part of the larger tut found here. He's using it to shrink, but of course you could use it to grow the partition.

e: you might want to try not formatting it and see if when you grow the partition you can keep your data...you can always format it later if it turns out you can't keep the data.

Here's the quote from his guide:

OPTIONAL: Shrink SXOS EmuNAND

If you shrink your EmuNAND make sure you backup all saves first! Back them saves up even if you don't shrink the EmuNAND

If you would like to shrink your SXOS EmuNAND now is the time. This will make all installed NSP stop working. You can reinstall but it won't hold much. The intent is to make SXOS's impact minimal. I make SuperXCI (XCI files that contain all updates and DLC for the game) I convert NSP files and make Super XCIs out of them as well. This way Everything for SXOS compatible games is on the HDD. Except a Small EmuNAND.

You can select whatever USER data size you want. I only intend to have SAVE data on this EmuNAND so 8GB is enough for me. I play all NSP off of my SD in Atmosphere. SXOS is just for XCI USB loading.

In NxNandManager
  1. Select File>Open File and select your EmuNAND raw backup.
  2. Select Options > Resize EmuNAND
  3. Check Format User (this is optional, however this process will render the current USER data useless anyway so just format it to make it clean, Input file will not be altered)
  4. Select New Size.. I went with 5504 MB for user partition (8 GB Total) to keep enough room for saves.. some games have fairly large save files, you can choose whatever you want,
  5. Click Save As,, name the file whatever you want and choose the working directory. I call mine SXOSemuRESIZED
  6. Click Save.

Oh here one the regular home menu
OK, thank you for that.

I think what we're talking about then is you are experiencing lag while playing Minecraft on a switch that has been hacked and has homebrew enabled.

Is that a correct summary of your issue or do I need more help from you to further define the problem?

Is it just Minecraft that has the lag or are their other games that lag too?

Please share a screenshot of your /atmosphere/contents/ directory.
You will probably need to do this with your SDCard in Windows.

As a side note, this will force you to reboot your switch so after you boot back up please check Minecraft again and see if the reboot helped at all.

Ok, you have a few sys-mods installed. One of them might be using valuable resources.

Let’s do a quick test for this that we can put right back if it turns out this is not the issue.

Please change the name of /atmosphere/contents to /atmosphere/contents.bk and then reboot and play Minecraft again to see if there is an improvement.

What this does is temporarily move your system modules out of the expected path and thus disables them temporarily.

Once you are done rebooting without your system modules and testing Minecraft we can easily move your system modules back by renaming /atmosphere/contents.bk back to /atmosphere/contents where they belong and reboot again.

If we do see improvement though, it will tell us that one of your system modules is hogging your compute resources so instead of moving everything back all at once we will instead create a new /atmosphere/contents folder and move the files inside /atmosphere/contents.bk to the new /atmosphere/contents one at a time and test between each one until we find the one that causes the lag.

That’s your go forward plan. Please let me know if you have any questions about the approach.

Interesting. Please put everything back then of course.

That process gets rid of just about anything that could have competed for resources. There’s not a whole lot else to try.

What Firmware, Amosphere and Hekate version are you running?

So some unexpected problems today.
2 days ago i updated to 15.0.0 and new atmos/hecate. The switch has been working fine since then. Left it on the dock overnight as usual.
Today it did not start, no reaction. I connected it to my computer and windows beeped when connected and also shows in device managment. But tegra did not find it, so no green RCM to boot. Iv tried to put it on manual charge half an hour with same result.

EDIT FIXED:
Managed to fix it by holding the power and then i finaly got RCM back. Not sure why it happened doh, never had a problem like this before my previous update.

Allready tried that but I always get an error, when I try to restore with NxNANDManager, nomatter what the size is.

Hello.
I've been experiencing a problem while trying to install games from Tinfoil.
When I click on "Install" I get the pop up saying that I can close that window (but I don't toutch anything) and after a few seconds that window closes itself and the game is not installed. Anyone with any sympton like this? This is happening for any game, I think. I still have 6.9Gb available of space. Can it be anything related with shops or Tinfoil or what?

Try installing Othello.nsp. It’s a super small game. Like 112M.

What version of Tinfoil are you using?

Tinfoil Ver 13.0. I think there is a newer version, no? Should I try to install it over the current one?
I tried to install a 239Mb game and the console only shows:
install failed. Looking for mirror...

The version of Tinfoil to download is "Applet version", yes?
