Luigi's Mansion 3

and the only thing I liked about it was the overall presentation (animation and stuff)
gameplay, controls and especially some combats/bossfights were very disappointing and frustrating
(I've played 1 and 2, with 1 on the GC being one of my all time favourite games)

Recently this month, i finished two-three switch games on my switch Lite system:

1) Bayonetta 3 (22/11)

I could have finished it sooner, fi i played it nearly everyday since i got the game on the 4th of nov.
but oh well, it was super fun & super wroth the 60 euroes :) .
i so glad i bought it,
hope to get bayo 2 & 1 (cart form) soon on switch :) .

2) Xenoblade c2 Trona dlc (26/11)

Xenoblade 2 DLC End pic.jpg

3) Link's awakening (27/11)

i had nearly finished this game since 2019, but didn't do the final boss in the wind fish egg.
got bored tho, since it was super easy to beat,

but i best it now, since i wanted some footage capture material for some of my YouTube videos im ATM making.

haha.

Picross S8. I cleared almost all of the game months ago, not long after it released, but got embarrassingly stuck for some reason on the last two Extra puzzles. Just came back to them fresh and cleared them with no problem, so 🤷
What's to say, it's picross, it's great, I need the next entry in the series asap please.

Before that I finished Puzzle by Nikoli Slitherlink S. I've loved slitherlink for years, hasn't been quite up there with picross (not nearly so many games available for one thing) but another great relaxing puzzle. This is a decent slitherlink game, tho quite a small one, fairly limited number of puzzles - seems to be a thing they're doing with the Puzzle by Nikoli series for different types of puzzle, I've played the Sudoku one a bit too - maybe they're planning to make more numbered entries with more puzzles.
So (just checked) there are 50 puzzles to complete, with increasing difficulty, and you get awarded a bronze, silver or gold medal based on your clear time (or none if you're too slow). Having played a fair bit of slitherlink before I mostly got silvers with minimal effort, tho got a couple of bronzes on first attempt, and also some golds when I was trying hard to be quick first go. Getting gold on all the puzzles was a fair additional (and entirely optional) challenge, that took multiple attempts on some of the harder ones. Gameplay is good, controls are good, I noticed it doesn't highlight correct/incorrect numbers of sides around the provided digits or automatically tell you when you've won like some other slitherlink games do, you have to manually choose "Check" from the pause menu when you think you've finished. Not a big deal but a little less friendly than I was used to, same applies to the aforementioned sudoku game so probably also to any others in the Puzzle by Nikoli series.
Well that was an unnecessary long review. I didn't pay for the game but for the amount of content I hope it's a budget price, besides that good stuff.

Nice to encounter a fellow puzzle game fan. I've also finished Picross S8 several months ago. Do you also do the Mega Picross puzzles? They had me stumped when I first started playing Picross way back when, but I got used to them and practically like them better now than the regular Picross puzzles. Can't wait for the next game also. One game I played for over 90 hours (and still far from finished) is Piczle Lines DX. I got addicted to it. Really well done. I'm gonna try the Nikoli game you recommended too, it looks interesting. Anything that makes me use my brain is usually fun. :yayswitch:

Yep did everything in the game, I enjoy the Mega puzzles too as there's some additional layers to the logic.
I looked up Piczle Lines DX, I've played that type of game on my phone before and enjoyed it so might give that one a go, thanks for the suggestion!

The croissant crust is still available though, but not quite as good imo.
