then maybe the best thing to do is to complete the games I have almost completed
then I format and it solves all the problems for sure
that I can't delete a game is not that annoying
i rebuild the firmware database and then i can delete the goco
but hdr? fuck that is annoying as hell
is a big deal
you could do all that now, if you wanted to. backup saves with apollo or save mounter, put all games on an external hdd, and copy the two folders for trophies. you can also copy your app.db, because some things not working correctly are associated with pfs (protected file system), which is the main security of the system. to use the same app.db, get the decimal of the old system or use the common folder, change the hex to decimal to get the number on the new system, then hex paste over all of them. I was able to get everything done on my system in less than 20 minutes, after a format.
could it be that in the debug settings I touched something that I shouldn't have touched?
first problem it doesn't let me delete the games
to clear them I have to rebuild the firmware database
if i start a game then i can't delete it and i have to rebuild the database
second problem the game that has hdr and i played it with hdr is horizon zero down
HDR can no longer be enabled in the game
HDR is turned on in the ps4 settings
I reinstalled the 9.00 hoping that the problems were solved
that I can't delete the game after starting it and after exiting the game didn't fix it
who knows if all the games that have hdr can now all be seen with hdr I have to try on the smart tv
hdr is turned on in ps4 settings and in horizon zero down i can't turn on hdr in game menu anymore like i did once

i copied the database and it was fine
then I wanted to restore it because it happened again that I could not delete the games
i clicked db restore and the ps4 said it was restarting and it didn't restart and i shut it down by holding power for 15 seconds
I turned it on and it did a database rebuild and the problem didn't resolve it didn't restore the database
I did tests from sp-int I put np
then i activated the binloader
then i clicked db restore and the database restored itself
i had copied the database when psn was on np
then I put sp-int because the update downloads started
even with sp-int the playroom download starts but the game update downloads don't start
well, the playroom is going to be using a free license iirc. you can download it elsewhere, and it will be a legit package for the update.
I once corrupted my playroom by deleting an update, which instead deleted the license, so the game wouldn't work. I found a retail package online that fixed the license as well as provided the update I had originally. it's a free license, so most likely reinstalling the firmware should work. I think playroom actually is in one the preinst partitions.

I swear like 99% of arcade games wouldn't even exist these days outside of MAME the arcade machines are old and busted very few ever saw any sort of home conversion
I mean if a company could use AI to do the work of a home conversion for essentially free why not? The rights for some games are completely lost though
