again yes, but i have alredy a lot of chargers, thats why iam asking of the other users expirience and what tech is it using :P
@Hayato213 is being careful to not give you bad advice and have you blow up your Switch cause he’s a good guy like that. Pure Ninty chargers is the way to go.

That said I use 3rd party PC charger on mine. Be careful as there were some issues with bad docks breaking Switches in the past. For me, I carefully read the reviews on Amazon a while ago when I got mine.

Haven’t had any issues but that’s just me.

Here’s mine doing it’s thing:

I’m not going to link to the one I use for the same reasons…in general look for well known name brands that actually do real PD charging.

E: btw, here’s what the official charger stats look like (more power than 3rd party:

Try this:

https://github.com/J-D-K/JKSV#quick-guide

1) X opens the sub menu of options for the currently highlighted user
2) Create All Save Data creates save data for every title on your system for the selected user

The 00000000000003b is just a folder name inside of the :USER partition. It’s a dynamic number and will be different for each *nand. It’s not the actual TitleID.

See here:

View attachment 339875
So I went back into NxNand manager to look at all my saves and was able to document exactly which files relate to which game. I also documented each Game Title ID. I am wanting to just skip using JKSV and just transfer the files using Windows.

Since I already got to the point where the save files are now in the "out" folder, is it as simple as going into emuMMC/RAW1/Nintendo/save/(Title ID folder)/ and then dropping the files in?

For example, I have two folders in the out folder related to Super Smash Bros. The first folder (0000000000000011) has a folder named "save data" with subfolders of "mii" and "spirits".

The second folder (0000000000000012) has meta and bin files as well as a directories subfolder folder.

Would I just drop the contents of both 0000000000000011 and 0000000000000012 into a folder named "01006A800016E000" (Super Smash's Title ID)?

emuMMC/RAW1/Nintendo/save/01006A800016E000

I have no problem manually entering the Title IDs into the save folder since I don't have too many of them, as long as I know the correct way to just drop them in.

My thinking is that if it worked like that there would be no need for tools like NXNandManager and JKSV to decrypt and export/import the game save files. There’s a chance everyone has over complicated everything and we could just be using Windows Explorer on these things. I’ve not tried it but you’re more than welcome to be the pioneer that tries it to find out! :-)

As long it isn't docked, you probably would be fine with 5v/2a, but if you want insurance policy that why you stick to oem charger for any electronics.
Thx for your woring :D
My policy is just to avoid chargers from Ali, after my beasus wireless one melt in the middle of the night :D but any other even amazon basic works for me so far :D

I understand that, but i was asking of the other chargers because i have a lot of them, and I am pretty sure that 5v2A cant harm the switch(still i prefer to ask first :D). Quick chargers are another side of the story, remember that qc can fry dualshock 4 for example :D.

Nice dock probably even better in terms of cooling than stock. xD (send us some link for later)
Is this eXtremeRate joy con shell or is it some metal alternative :P?

I bought a pretty cheap power bank"SteelPlay Power Bank Nintendo Switch 10000 mAh JVASWI00020", not so many reviews, bet its pretty inconvenient to use and it will be not helping at all with cooling but it cost me 15$ fo 10k battery inside and shops that selling it are rather legit stationary stores so i can return it :X

5v2A should be just fine. It’s the PD stuff that got dicey on the old docks. Some people didn’t implement it right in the early days. Test it carefully and watch/listen/smell for issues before you leave it unattended for a long period of time. That’s all.

I have a similar 10,000 powerbank from a company Chinsion on Aliexpress.

Well, allow me to clarify a few things. There are no such things as "sigpatches". Those are just a made up word used for noobs. In reality, there are ES, FS, & Loader patches. ES patches are required to install legitimate .NSP files while FS/Loader patches are used to launch .XCI file converts and homebrew .NSP files. Unfortunately, SDSetup does not include these patches so you must download them from this thread.

90DNS is absolutely not necessary. Its only needed if you plan to use Internet-based services with your console but are afraid of getting banned.

Lastly, whatever you do in emuMMC does not affect sysMMC. You have the correct idea; having emuMMC is like having a second Switch but on your SD card.
Hello! it's me again!
I downloaded the sigpatches from the thread (not the auto generator, just the file attached) and pasted them in their respective folders. then i followed this tutorial on how to install tinwoo and inject games (downloaded from nsw2u). I have a couple question

1st. the downloads contain multiple files (dlc, updates and the big file). I don't know if I have to select them all and then they merge together
2nd. I use tinwoo, install via usb etc... it gives me invalid nca signatures error, when i dismiss it it gives me another error, code: 2168-0001 (0x2a8) and program 01000000000100D, what to do?

The files are mixed, some are nsp some are nsz, i tried installing a singular nsz and nsp file. same result

I just completed loading atmosphere using the guide on rentry but have a question about online play. I'd like to play Violet/Scarlet online with custom save files. How should I go about doing that? Do I need to be on OFW? (I fully understand the risks)

Need a clean NAND, no pirated game.

Just to be 100% sure, that will require that I turn off "AutoRCM" in hekate tools and then update the OFW to the newest version which will blow some fuses? I'll still be able to boot into atmosphere CFW to handle loading/saving of save files?

AutoRCM doesn't matter, but when you update via Nintendo Server it would load with a custom bootloader if it load correctly it burn your fuse, you still need a clean NAND to play online, the AutoRCM doesn't matter, you can boot into Stock Horizon OS via Hekate.

I'm sorry, but I'm having trouble understanding. This is all fairly new to me.

Is there a step-by-step guide for this? I don't want to mess up.

If I loaded CFW to my SD card, does that mean my NAND is not clean anymore?

What I'm assuming is this:
1. Turn AutoRCM off
2. Boot to OFW
3. Update using Nintendo servers
4. Reboot and use CFW to modify save files
5. Reboot again to OFW to play online with save files

Is that correct or is there a better way to play online with save files?

If your OFW and CFW use the same NAND then you would just get banned.

I tried re-doing the whole JKSV process, and while it still gave me "create save failed" errors when doing the batch create save, I was able to get around it by going to a select few games I wanted save files from the most and selecting "A" to make a new save for that game. Then I was able to find that folder in JKSV, delete the save it made, and transfer my save out of the "out" folder.

For some reason, the Metroid Dread save that I pulled from the NAND backup was more towards the beginning of the game rather the end where I last played it. The save file I'm looking for would not be somewhere else would it? I know it was when I was playing Metroid that I recently had the problems with atmosphere giving me the error, so perhaps that save file was corrupt and was uncoverable anyways.

Mine says 'Current version: 14.1.2|AMS 1.4.0|E'

You have an Emunand, looks like your sysnand is clean, if you want you can update via nintendo server, but do keep in mind injecting a save via homebrew have moderate chance of a ban, best way is to use two units to be honest for pokemon, one for CFW and one for online.
