you create a text file using notepad paste the 30 fps code then save it as cheats.txt. put it in your sdcard the directory is /luma/titles/00040000001971000 then open rosalina menu then enable the cheats there
Hey dude sorry for replaying an old message but I cant make Rosalina Menu appear for MHXX, it works for any other game I have installed.
Do you have any idea how to fix that?

Very easy if you start an online camp research: most will be in japanese if the game connected to its original server, but it will be the opposite if the game connected to the western MHGU server.

Do we still need to use Luma 9.1 for crossplay or can we just stay on the latest version of luma and not need to worry about it at all?
I'm using the latest version of luma (11.0 as of today) and it works like a charm. Moreover I've been using Luma v10 for years and it has always worked.

Trying to run it on a n2dsxl. I it keeps giving me a crash whenever i try to launch and forces me to reboot the console. I don't know what i'm doing wrong, I'm installing the clean cia and the 1.4 patch(both off of h3s), then installing this crossplay patch. If anyone could help me launch it i'd be grateful.

Edit: Fixed, All it took was to go into FBI>Titles>Monster Hunter XX>Import Seed. Game booted right after.

Seems like Your patch conflict with HD texture pack . Especially some of the UI parts aren’t working like pixelated menu and button prompts . Maybe because of your texture modifications ?

Btw is this patch standalone or require CrossHex version 2 ? I just installed your “Crossplay” patch and I don’t even have the start screen of giving credits to creators . But all are translated .

I am not the only one having issue

Ok I finally fixed my issue . The problem is this complete English patch is not compatible with UI mod from Discord channel . But fortunately author also created his own version of HD UI mod for his English patch .

So if you are using this patch and also want to use HD textures from discord . Download everything except UI . And then Download Author’s own UI mod . This should also be in this discord channel .

I have a question regarding crossplay if there is someone here still alive that can answer it lol, I know that if a GU posts an event the game crashes on 3ds and with the crossplay I used back in the day if you posted an event on 3ds GU users coud not grab the quests and that was it, has there been any discoveries for a workaround for the second situation? Im very interested in that specific situation so if anyone knows that would be awesome

Event quests have a specific signature, which are different between XX and GU. The XX crashes because the associated exception is not properly handled. When GU was released to NX they added a handler and so the game do not crash but instead show a clear error message.

You are asking for a workaround. I can only tell you what I've done. I own a CFW 3DS with XX installed, and so a friend of mine but with a very old save file. His save file contains the five Gudetama/Nisetama event quests that are not longer available for download, and I'm a completist so I wanted those quests very badly. What I did? I followed this youtube tutorial about using Citra emu to move my saved character to my friend's save file which contains all removed DLCs. A few months later I also learned that you can do it manually by following the method described here. The "clear" state of event quests do not change if you replace the DLC data because it only contains the quests data and the "clear" state of quests is character-specific, so your DLC progress is safe.

Why I'm telling you all this? Because now I have the theory that you can actually add all GU event quests from a GU save file to your XX save file, or at least replace the old XX events with the ones available in GU, by following the manual method above. Doing so will allow you to take on GU event quests without crashing, however you may still crash XX users that don't have such quests, but they're a lot less common so I think it worths. You only need a GU save file (which you can obtain by googling) and the ability to follow basic instructions from the post linked above, to eighter copy the DLC data to your save file or to convert the GU save to a XX save (by using this tool) and put your character on it. I will do that as soon as I have the time (I'm very busy right now) and I will update this post with some feedback. Hope this post can be helpful.

Kind of off-topic but for completion purposes I'll add bellow the five event quests that are not longer available for download and I'm very, very happy for finally having them. The first three are from MHX, and the other 2 were added in MHXX. Some of them gives you a very nice gear for your hunter (try rainbow or skin-color on it) and your palico as well. Please note that you shouldn't use them online or you will crash GU players since those gears were dummied out in their games. XX-exclusive weapons don't crash GU players often, but gear does.

If you share this save file and I inject it in my XX game, would a new save (starting on an old X character) still have access to them? (I know my downloaded quests in MH4U were available for new saves too.)

Sorry for the off-thread question but a relative updated the Luma on my console recently, wich made me lose the version I had (previous release, modified to use a certain kind of cheat files), wich I used for the MHXX crossplay cheat code.
I can't find it again through GOOGLE (nor the research on GBAtemp). Does anyone know the exact name?*

edit : solved.

How do i instal the patch on a 3DS? modded ofc
The patches provided here are CIA files... They're simple installation files for a 3DS. So, like any other, you will simply select to install them through FBI. (OF COURSE, they're update CIA, so install the game first if you don't have the cartridge.)

I'd love to hear your experience, I tried myself and did not work.

I used a Switch save file with the DLC downloaded, I edited my own character save slot on it, I converted and size-corrected the save file for 3DS, and while it seemingly works fine (my character shows up, my stuff is there, my cats are fine) the moment you check the event quests it gets a code dump.

If someone else can chime in and add any info it would be great. Specifically, how one would find de DLC data and copy it on a 3DS file instead of having to use a converted switch file.
