Port-wise, I'd have to say the main factor(s) against it are because of the fact that One : It just takes a lot of time, and people don't want to have to deal with that on an outdated, poorly documented piece of hardware - and Two : people usually get the mind-set to where they think something along these lines,
"well it can emulate pretty much every console under the sun, soooo" Which I mean, it makes sense. The emulation scene for the Wii U is objectively some of the best I've ever seen on any console, so much so that I've seen countless people get a Wii U specifically for that fact. But I get where you're coming from, more ports would be nice but- I wouldn't count on a lot more progress any time soon.
Although imagine if Skyrim was on the Wii U, we need to spread it's dominance onto every possible platform
somehow.
