    It's a project that shouldn't have been done in the first place, when they only did it for attention. 🤷 Tried to posit itself as an actual fan translation, tricking a lot of people into thinking the actual fan translation project was complete.

    People were mad at the Germs patch because it was a translation of a fan translation by someone with no knowledge of Japanese to account for accuracy, and there's already an English translation project in the works by people who actually know Japanese.

    Perspective on N's hat and face is entirely wrong for a 3D model. Ghetsis's colors and face are entirely wrong too, looking like a draw-over of Cyrus. Ghetsis's eyebrows have always touched his eyelids, and his eye shape is completely different. (Example from Pokemon Masters)

    The difference between this and that is those were fan games being made with assets from Capcom. Fan games are entirely separate from hacks and decomps. If those were *mods* to RE2/3 remakes, it'd be more of a grey area, but those were not mods.

    While shutting down digital stores for consoles is always awful, at least Microsoft makes an effort for backwards compatibility. I can't even play the PS1 games I bought on PS3 on my PS4 or PS5, let alone the PS2 games I bought (also emulated on the PS3!) that I can't play.

    Yeah, and they were being pessimistic just to be pessimistic. There's a demo they can play. There are games advertised that are already released. Who cares if a fan project might hypothetically be dropped? They were wrong about the video not having anything in it.
