Raj codes a lot of excellent open source tools for the scene and you brain geniuses attacking him are going to regret it when he decides to move on and put his efforts into something else.
I was unable to get Spelunky (US) PCSE-00288 to work. The title card shows "Unlock Full Version!" and upon launch it just crashes with error C2-12828-1. This was my own dump, and I deleted my installed legit copy to test, so... whoops.
Maybe I screwed something up. I'll boot it up fresh and try that address/value pair and see what happens and update this post in a few minutes.
Edit: Got it working. I was trying it via the "Custom Codes" tab and that was failing across the board. I pasted those entries into the codes text file...
I'm running the patched version on 5.5.1 and the offset of +0x2840000 works great with Yen, EXP, etc. However, I'm having trouble with Treasure Keys. I've tried the following addresses:
4C330670 - crashes game
49AF0670 - no effect
49AEF530 - no effect
49AF4A86 - no effect
49AEC25A - no effect...
To convert your PAL save to an NTSC save
Use Savegame Manager to extract the save for NSMBW.
Reboot wii, and delete your NSMBW save via system channel save game manager.
Open SD card on PC, go to "savegames" folder. Rename the folder so that instead of ending in e50 it ends in e45.
