in the sf bay area. got mine today! 3/18 (SUN) ordered 3/23 (FRI) shipped 3/28 (WED) tracking said "left hong kong" 3/31 (SAT) received! works fine spring loader definitely clicks when going in; i'm sure that it is in securely. coming out, it clicks, but doesn't pop out like other...- wowimsocute

i figure this is a good place to post since people have the r4. i have a supercard SD, but no passcard/nopass device. if i buy the r4, can i use it to boot the SC-SD in ds mode without a micro-sd card? or do i have to have a micro-sd card in the r4? i figure i might as well use that cart...- wowimsocute

I finally modeled and 3d printed the new HDD cages I need in order to build my 2nd NAS. Original ones don't fit the mounting holes on the hdds I'm using. Been sitting on this project for over 2 years smfh

Also another 70TB going in the front mount drive bays of this server. 182tb raw, going to probably use a zfs RAID-Z3 for 3 parity disks, so 140TB usable

I could claw back 14tb by only doing 2 parity disks but I feel like with 13 disks in the RAID I'd be kind of pushing my luck on rebuild time if I encounter a disk failure
