    So i have the "backup" copy of SSBB. I burned it onto a dual layer disc. The wii seems to recognize the game and allows me to start, (i guess that means my lens isnt dusty ) it starts up, asks if i want to save and finally when the intro video is about to play it gives me an error saying "Disc...

    you can damage the wii itself by installing a switch. at least you just break the wiikey if you corrupt it and even though i wont do either method, i dont want a broken wii.

    any dual layer drive will do for the burning though right? if thats the case ill just wait till someone does a proper dump

    OK, so the wiikey doesn't work with a legit copy of SSBB. However if i was to dump it and burn it on a dual layer disc, it should work?
