Since I'm not 100% sure about the source of the GBA game.. think that could be the problem? Maybe when Pearl tries to access the save game.. the cartridge is messed up and it loses the save altogether?- uw4nka

Think it could be a red/green problem? I don't have a ruby or sapphire cart to test it. I'm thinking it might be the game itself. Can't really get anyone else's game to try it with. "Hey uhh.. just need to test something? It'll probably delete your save.." Also, did you use your European...- uw4nka

You say that but I know other people who can use the Pal Park fine from the R4.. so I know it's not impossible.- uw4nka

Hacking R4 and GBA game in slot 2
Hey, I have an R4DS and I run Pokemon Pearl from the R4 but I have Pokemon Fire Red.. Fire Red works fine off the GBA and also in the DS, but if I run Pokemon Pearl at all, it completely erases my Fire Red save. This is far from ideal, since I want to have Fire Red in Slot 2 in order to migrate...- uw4nka
