    what i need to know is how can i run an app? the only things that still run is homebrew the channel and preloader... should i use something like an old version of wad manager since i have an old ios?

    I'm on wii menu 4.2U, i really want 3.2 and i just installed ios 249 and cIOS rev 14. I ran ios downgrader and all the ioses installed ok. when i resetted my wii and loaded and region changer it didn't load. NOTHING will load!! the disk channel, WAD manager, only my vc games work. i even tryed...

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
