    I've been using 4.2 for a while, and I didn't ever had any problems whatsoever. IMO, don't risk messing with the real nand for anything xD

    http://download.cnet.com/HP-USB-Disk-Storage-Format-Tool/3000-2094_4-10974082.html use this to format the micro sd, and try using fat32 and I recommend formatting and copying everything over again when changing files with fat32.
