    I also burned away my solder points on my wii dvd drive. After that I brought my wii + wiikey away to an pro (in Eindhoven, Netherlands). He soldered the wiikey directly on the chip. It was 50 euro for the install, but I missed 3 solder points. If you only miss one it would be cheaper. Good luck

    Insert Wiikey setup disc -> Hold reset for >1sec to enter Config menu -> Same for DVDR Speed

    I think your wiikey isn't connected properly or you have a loosy wiikey clone. I can't imagen that a real Wiikey doesn't work properly with all the different things you have tried.

    A few things you could try: 1. burn faster 2. try other media 3. check PAL/NTSC compatibility on the wiki 4. try other iso's (maybe you had a bad iso) 5. Change the speed settings of the wiikey with the setup disc

    Gaming USENET

    I used the servers of my ISP, but they were very slow. Since a few weeks I have a 20mbit internet connection and now I use a dutch pay newsserver. These pay servers are really great!! Don't go for free ones, just pay a 6-10 $ a month.

    Often the GC controllers keep 'hanging' and doing something without pressing. Just disconnect it and reconnect it...or better, use the reset button
