    @kijetesantakalu042, what's a craiglist?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Also, Does either Rufus or balenaetcher make Linux run in Windowed mode with Windows still on? I don't like running programs in fullscreen
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    you are talking about VM
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @NinStar, vm runs like shit
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    what you described is VM, nothing else will do that
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    as far as I know, if you computer supports virtualization, it should run fine, there are some exceptions
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @NinStar, i don't think My PC supports virtualization
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    running windows vm under linux won't support hardware acceleration (also think the opposite is true)
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    then you should run directly in the host machine, for that you need a live usb image
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    I don't use neither rufus or balenaetcher, I use ventoy
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    you should be able to install it even on windows, it uses a web browser tool for that, you just have to run it locally
    +1
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    ew this has mcaf
    ee on it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @NinStar, I might try it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @K3Nv2, isnt mcafee an antivirus?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    A shit one
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    with ventoy you don't need to write a OS image to a usb directly, you just copy and paste the iso into it and you are done
    +1
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    the best part is that you can have mutiple iso on the same usb
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @NinStar, lemme mention you on my thread about using linux
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Can't believe its been almost a year and you're still talking about installing Linux. Is there a reason why you want it, like a program you want or something?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    nowadays all I use windows for is to change the settings of my capture card
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @BigOnYa, because people here prefer Linux, and bc I still have Windows 8.1
  • kijetesantakalu042 @ kijetesantakalu042:
    @Xdqwerty Its a list made by craig. Also w8.1?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
