Hacking Newly purchaed Acekard 2i goes to black screen with error
I didn't purchase from Lightake but I had exactly the same problem. I purchased a "Christmas Edition" Acekard 2i that claimed to be updated to work with 1.4 and over, but when they put it in their DSi it showed an Acekard 2i logo meaning it wasn't updated at all. I don't like how they packaged...- KingLord

i have that stupid connector on my gpu luckily it's only a 300w gpu so i should(?) be fine since all the issues are with the quad 8pin->12pin and mine is only dual 8pin

quite a tight bend on that 8pin->12pin adapter in my case, which is the worst case scenario, but i made sure it was fully seated after plugging everything in and bending the cable so it shouldn't come unseated by itself since i pre-stressed the cable

Cheaper and they are less stingy with the RAM not a big issue now but I can imagine in a yard or two things might be different

the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now
