    I just didn't know if spoofing would work since I'm only transferring license's and not the actual games, so no need to worry about encryption.

    Could you use one of the current save managers like SVDT or Save Manager and backup that save for us? I want to see if I can restore it like that and get into gateway mode.

    I'm confused by what you mean? I tried this boot with the OoT3d save(which is 2.1) and it loads but freezes when I try to start any homebrew. I'm assuming its because the payloads in the save are 2.1 and the boot file isn't.. ?

    Hacking Backup Loader NTSC/AV Color List

    I backed up my copy of Metroid(so I know it's NTSC unless the patcher is changing that) and it shows black and white with standard cables and a black screen with HD cables. I've tried 480i and 480p with component, I can still hear the sound but I get no picture at all.

    Did you update the firmware with the file supplied in the update on your DS. I think it's the bin file. Just load it in the supercard menu like you would a game. The newest patching software needs the newest firmware to work.
