    Hardware GCos question (Multidisc games)

    Hi, I was about to create a multi-game disc with Tales of Symphonia PAL on a DVD, but I was wondering if the game will run fine. Indeed, as the game is on 2 dvds, i wonder how can the swap between the two dvds be done ? (I assume the answer is the same with Baten Kaitos or resident evil 4)...

    Hardware XCM 1080p VGA box reviewed by Scorpei.com

    The problem is that you will only be able to play 480p pS2 games with the x2vga. (for example, there aren't any square-enix which supports 480p. [I'm not sure if it's just the case of pal games].) So, in the end, it might be the same to buy this box or the other one.

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
