  • Call me old fashioned but I'm probably gonna continue only using "Like" lol. Maybe use a reaction if it's a big one, time will tell if I'm right about myself though. :P

    Like what? LIKE WHAT CHARYYY???!!! AAAAA

    Also wow, do you want to destroy my last few brain cells with using a reaction for my status while saying that? ;A;

    The moment I heard about Apple bringing high refresh rate displays to their new iPhone Pro models, I knew it would help make it standard.

    How so? It's an improvement, I don't think it's meant to solve anything.

    Improvement. In a technical sense. In a practical sense? I remain unconvinced outside of a handful of specific use cases, and several of those have other potential solutions that don't involve me doubling data rates for no real gain in number of apparent polygons.

    Both? The overall experience is more pleasant and fluid. Browsing on my PC feels more smoother and nice, on my phone it makes using it more pleasant and quick. In games 120hz feels great. I'm not talking about use cases, I don't know if there are such other technical reasons you would want a high refresh rate. It's akin to better sound or picture quality, doesn't serve much purpose but a better experience to be had.
    My headphones gave me so much anxiety for a few minutes lol, the left side had a crackling sound at lower frequency sounds.

    A few hours ago I had just removed the pads to clean them and just a while ago when using them I noticed the crackling.

    I assumed it was something to do with what I did so I kept removing it and checking if I had put them correctly or if there was something there. Did it many times and it didn't work.

    Finally I removed the pads again and placed my ear near it to see and the issue isn't there without them. Then I noticed the thinnest kinds of strands from the pads and just removed them, but they're barely even solid and so far from being even as thick as a hair strand.

    Now it's fine. I guess maybe it was that and my ear probably cleaned the driver surface when I pressed against it, maybe something I couldn't see was making the vibration. Phew.
    The performance for Miles Morales on PS5 is disappointing, at least on Performance RT. Swinging through the city there are many fps drops.

    Also just went back to Remastered and it feels so much smoother while swinging in comparison with no framerate drops at all. Hopefully the next game doesn't have this issue.
    Finally, the PS5 update is coming tomorrow. I just hope they somehow allowed Headphone 3D Audio through the TV.

    Or at least hope that the TV 3D Audio implementation somehow works with headphones but I highly doubt that.
    The Switch and PS5 badly need VRR support, would make 30fps look a lot better. At least it's rumoured for the PS5, hope that's true.

    It's one thing I really love about the Series X. Makes games that just fall short of 4K/60 look fantastic.

    I think it's stupid that such a feature needs to exist. Devs should adhere to a frame rate on consoles and tweak the game to be able to output that at all times. On PC with so many build configs I can understand it , but frame drops on consoles just feels lazy to me.
    Jiehfeng
    Jiehfeng
    Well there are cases where the game is a constant 30fps but the console still outputs a 60Hz signal which doesn't look good. And sometimes a 60fps mode wouldn't exist at all if they wanted zero drops, which is where VRR helps a lot.
    Now that resistant triggers are done, on to tension resistant buttons! Feel the weight of your individual button punches haha.
    This site's mobile version is like one of the only websites I enjoy browsing on my phone. I haven't used the desktop version in a long time.
    Miles Morales is great in Spider-Man, can't wait to play his game soon. He's different from Peter but also pretty cool.

    Pete's "City's Most Wanted" quad of DLC...ugh. Never did play much of that; didn't find Black Cat an enjoyable character at all, and Screwball's new sidequest turned me right off.
    I was highly relieved when Screwball screwed right off for this sequel, lemme tell ya. So freaking glad.

    Playing Spider-Man Remastered now, feels real playing through a story actually about a deadly contagious virus with masks and quarantine.
    Looks like the HTML knowledge I had to study last year came in handy somehow.

    My ISP provided router has login details relevant to the ISP's internet service for it to work, and they don't usually share that information with you. I needed it for something and I inspected the element on the router page of the password field and changed the type from password to text, and that was it lol, I saw the password.

    Felt great and is my first hacky thing I did without Google. :P

    I enjoyed all the MCU Spider-Man movies, but man they should be called Peter Parker lol. There's barely any Spider-Man stuff.

    I feel like the PS4 game is what should be taken as inspiration, that's how you do it. They make a great Spider-Man universe/story and the Peter Parker segments are minor in comparison.

    Even the Arkham games are pretty great this way. Hopefully we get good TV shows that play this well.

    "Peter Parker: Far From Home" sounds like an obscure late 90s movie I would've watched when I was 8

    Yeah but it would be true to its name. ;o;
    Great. My Dualsense controller already has less resistance on R2 compared to L2, and I've only played Spider-Man a few hours. Very fragile.

    Well I couldn't afford it either haha, I'm paying in installments.

    Installments huh, good for you.

    If I had one, I would not update the firmware, some guys here on comments say they've bought 2 Ps5 , one for normal use and another for storage, so no updating the stored ps5, just waiting on a jailbreak.
