    The PSX version of FF1&2, "Final Fantasy Origins" has FMVs for the openings of the game and that's all. PSX Origins however does not have the gameplay changes nor the "Soul of Chaos/Soul of Rebirth" extras this has. The choice is obvious.

    FF1 seems to be a pretty faithful remake that has been made a bit better, so far. Good stuff. I'll try 2 after I finish 1 and all the extra content. I wasn't fond of the original FF2, though.

    You have to actually configure the emulator to get a better quality. Options -> Video. Check that entire menu out. Set the render method to OpenGL or Direct3D to start, and then in filters, maybe apply a filter like super 2Xsai, Bilinear or Bilinear plus if your machine is fast enough to handle...

    Yeah... really short. Couple hours to finish the game and get all the extras (which you buy with cash you win from fights). The only tough opponent was the raver girl... kinda, anyway.

    New: 1305 - Onimusha Tactics (E)

    This game is actually pretty good. I've played up to the 30th chapter in the North American version. It has no class system but it has actual difficulty that I found lacking in Tactics Ogre and FFTA, the other two GBA Strat/RPG titles that are most similar.

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
