    sorted, just had to put into tinfoil mode: run atmoxl on switch then run awoo through ns-usbloader and it functions! :D

    I just followed the guide here exactly as stated just by entering and exiting recovery/safe mode and all the messages are gone :) i did all this by being fully offline so the messages/updates won't come back.

    worked for me on 5.1.0, gets rid of the downloaded system update and also the game/system update messages, you must be doing something wrong?

    great emu, games work as intended! for the filter crt geom, there is issue with some games i.e rastan, half of the right screen the color is green other than that great job, keep it up! :D

    One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

    I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs

    I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

    Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
