Did you open it recently, it could the ribbon cables not seated all the way or broke. Hard to tell till you open and see. I've seen people say the ribbon connectors don't make good contact again after releasing them once, so they put one layer of scotch tape on back side of ribbon cable to make a tighter fit in the connector. -

yeah, I did open it. I opened it to check out why the Z/ZR keys werent working anymore, and I thought I put everything back the way it was meant to be -
