Hardware 3DS automatically goes left (most of the times)
I have had this problem in my hand several times, one of them i have never have been able to solve but also check your touchscreen. If there is a deep scratch or puncture this can cause the similar problem u have now. BTW, i know this post is a bit late but if it's lying in a corner it wont hurt...- Dynamodz
