    DS #4333: Carcassonne (Europe)

The luck element averages out over the course of a game though - its like poker, a good player will still generally beat a poor player, despite the randomness of the cards. Victory can come down to whether or not you get a piece that will fit somewhere (usually a monastery - those 3 or 4 grass...

    Hacking ISO loading and piracy...

You mean RIP nintendo in the same way it doesn't make any money out of the DS since flashcarts came out? I'm not convinced. In practical terms, a working iso loader (one which somehow avoids being disabled by firmware updates) will only get used by a small (if significant) propotion of all the...

Gaming Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime

Yes. I can't remember which one, its somewhere around the 50-60 mark iirc at the end of one of the zones you rescue the curator, who will tell you to go visit the museum.

    Misc Nintendo WFC traffic only

heh, well I did say it was the least effective of all the methods... Still, you can always combine it with one of the other methods for increased security (no it won't keep a determined hacker out. But then again, the only really secure option when dealing with one of those is to run an ipsec...

    Misc Nintendo WFC traffic only

presumably you are setting out ith something in place that can setup traffic filters. his could be a wireless access point running linux (linksys wrt54g's a very good for this), or you are putting a firwall box between the wap and your modem. The reason for me saying this is that few off the...

Hacking Homebrew State of the PSP?

1.5 is the best firmware to run ( afaik, they have not got kernel mode working on firmware 2.0+), but I also believe there are now working downgraders for all availiable firmwares (upto 2.71). There is also a firmware chainbooter so you can have 1.5 and still run your umds that need higher f/ws.

Hacking Homebrew State of the PSP?

snes - runs great. genesis - I believe the same (not tried it myself) battery life for these, depending on what you set the cpu speed to, 3-5 hours music, not sure, *but* has to be at least as good as usaing pmp (plays back decent res x264 + vbr mp3), which can manage 10 hours @111mhz ( which...

Hacking EZ Flash III vs. IV

Correct, Boktai does use the RTC - and since it uses a solar panel as well, I suspect that the point is probably moot for that one.
