    Yea does appear to be a pain. The drivers are close but the pixel's resolution is still better than the retina display. I ended up nuking the pixel by disabling developer mode. I think my next attempt will be at Ubuntu. Im very interested in running a Virtual Machine as well as Wine.

    Thanks for the reply. I did try Osx86 iDeneb 10.5.8. I got to the installer and mid-install but that sleep issue i posted above takes over.     Anyone having issues where the pixel goes intoa perma-standby? like the front light bar blinks every 5 seconds and its impossible to wake it up? wierd. Im considering trying OS X86 with this guide. What do you think?
