A friend of mine sent me his O3DS after my N3DSXL broke from water damage about half a year ago. So right when I received the package, I called Ninty to unlink my NNID from the N3DSXL. After several formats, updates, and payload management, I was finally able to use it only to not have access to...
Crap, they already shipped my console back... I guess I'll just order another one when I get a job.
In other news, that Monster Hunter Generations edition New 3DS XL is looking pretty good but there's the chance of it already being updated to 11.0.
No, I meant my PlayStation 3 controller is fine after being submerged. The n3DS wasn't so lucky. It died from wet wipes but it was still mostly dry throughout. That's what's strange about it.
They probably found traces of evaporation, the system still being wet, something...
I left the system alone for a few days before sending hoping it would dry. Oh well.
Strangely, I submerged my DS3 in the toilet (long story) and it was completely fine after shoving it in a bag of rice for 2...
I doubt they'd go through the trouble of checking the serial number, let alone unscrewing it. I heard some retail employees are pretty incompetent. The condition of my broken one is pretty good on the outside anyway. You have to try fairly hard to find any scratches.
But knowing my luck so far...
I have no stable income, not until I get a part time job over the summer.
What if I buy another one, swap it, and return the defective one? Chances are the new one will have a hackable firmware.
Well this is quite disappointing... All I did was use wet wipes. Returning it to Toys 'r Us isn't an option since it's past 30 days, unless I'm mistaken.
Well, what now?
Sorry for troubling you but how do I restore them? I have them backed up in multiple locations but I'm lost on how restoring works.
Just as a final note: Thanks for the help guys!
