I did the MP3 trick too on my PAL Wii with Wiid, and it perfectly worked! The same as you, i got the message "unauthorized device" or "dispositif non autorisé" in french, when i try to launch the game. But no duplicated channels or semi-brick! This morning, i had tried to launch the game only...- bibi66

Thankfully the N64 had a metric ton of other fantastic games. I do kind of hate the controller though, I didn't mind it at the time but over the years I have slowly learned to hate it.

CV64 was a good game given it was the first of it's kind, the first 3d project by kobe and was rushed with content cut because of deadlines.+1
