Too bad you need Google Play Services, because some apps have purchase checks in them which crash due to a missing library which is installed with Google Play Services. Though you can painfully patch out the integration in those apps, but for an obscure app, good luck...

back in the days when android was still growing google play services didnt exist and when i installed it on my first gen galaxy tab it started to have sezures

App: "I need Google Play Services."
Sinchen: "Oh yeah?" → *uninstall*

Tried some games that started with "[… app name …] needs Google Play Services which your device does not support." After that they continued normally.

That being said, the only superhero stuff I’ve ever cared about was Batman

It's rather telling when Batman's only real way to defeat Wonder Woman is to make her exhaust herself via fighting endless waves of opponents - when Supes had Kryptonite, Flash had a speed-detecting bomb, J'onn had magnesium carbonate, and Green Lantern had either Willpower-enforced blindness or Fear toxin (depending on comic vs movie).

He couldn't expose her to a substance, influence her psyche, or really anything else; the plan coopted by the villains had to involve fighting her, which is not the quickest or quietest of plans. If she HAD a weakness, then they would have used that instead.

So do I, actually; I wish he had an actual useful Ability. Fur Coat, maybe. Guts, I dunno. Scrappy. Limber, even, or Unburden. Along with better Atk and Speed; 76 Atk is awful, and 90 Speed is middling these days.

Thank you! Went out to dinner with my family, along with my maternal grandparents and aunt, to a Mediterranean place near where they lived. Delicious!
Also got Xenoblade: Definitive and Wonderful 101 Switch, along with a jumbo mug, sponge cake, and a box of Pokémon cards.

I've never really played Pokémon TCG, but I do like Pokémon (as long as it's 3DS or earlier), so it was still a nice gift from my bro.

Apparently wanting the presumption of innocence to be recognised, when it comes to a certain online witch-hunt against men, is "sexist". I don't get it - it's the bedrock of our judicial systems, why shouldn't it be important in all matters? It's criminal to allow innocents to be irreparably harmed, just to destroy actually-guilty people, yet that's exactly what this witch-hunt allows.

Since there's no checks or balances whatsoever, and no real punishment for any woman making false accusations for such a horrid crime - there should be. Accusations shouldn't even be made online; go file them with the legal system instead. Oh, and a massive wave of supposed crimes should still require evidence and investigation for each individual one; sheer numbers alone shouldn't be able to prove anything.

it should be a decision made between two consenting adults and partners, is what I'm saying - it shouldn't just be a decision made by one, to the complete exclusion of the other. If one partner wants a baby but the other partner doesn't, then there should be a discussion between the two to determine why one's uncomfortable or unwilling.

The woman shouldn't be able to take it out of her husband's hands entirely, since having a baby or not affects both of them - the husband should have a say in the matter too. He shouldn't be able to force her decision, but in the same vein she shouldn't be able to force him either.

Whether or not an abortion occurs should only come after a deep discussion between the husband and wife, to see if they're both ready for the responsibility and change in lifestyle. The wife should not be able to take it out of her husband's hands, by either trapping him via childbirth, or robbing him of being a father by getting an abortion without his knowledge or consent.

I know; I used to like the anime, but lost interest just before Sinnoh ended. Oh well.

@x65943 Thank you for those words. It's mostly that my mum and dad weren't as intimate as he'd have liked, haven't been for years now. Their trip to Canada at the beginning of 2020 was a nice reversal, but that didn't last long after it was over.
We'll still be able to see each other, just...not every morning and night, now. Sigh...
