ROM Hack Is undubbing as simple as it sounds?

Ok, I wanna undub MMBN5DS coz I think the voice acting is horrible. So I hear it's as easy as finding and replacing sdats using dsbuff or dslazy then recompressing the rom. Has anyone actually succeded in undubbing this game? I don't wanna mess with the stuff if I know it's not gonna work...

how simple it is really depends on the game.
it's easy when all they did when bringing it to america was translating it.

but if they added features, undubbing will be hard.
EDIT: undubbing megaman battle network 5 is easy
but do you really want megawoman to tell you you got mail?(hint towards the voice used for the "you got mail" message)

Megaman 5 was done ages ago and aside perhaps from some speed issues with earlier carts (videos slowing down) it works flawlessly. Simply extract the files with ndstool or something and then rebuild with a renamed Japanese sound file.

Hmm, i undubbed it and it works great however I was wondering if I could fix any of these problems.
Buzzing sound in opening movie
slow down in opening movie

P.S: If it matters, I'm using M3 Real version 3.5.

what you can try:
get m3manager V3.7
disable m3 features such as cheats, slowmotion and soft-reset.
get a faster microSD
those are common causes of slowdowns.
