Not sure if i'm the only one, seeing how not many bought Acekard but my Acekard spring failed did not lock like R4/M3 simply (another reason not to buy a acekard i guess). After sitting there for about 15min trying to get the card to lock even once i failed and wondered if i can just rip the spring out. it was quite simple so i'd like to share the info in case someone else has a acekard with a failing/failed spring. If your stuck with one like me this is a option to consider for last resort.
1. peel the corners of the Front Sticker of the Acekard to access 4 skrews. remove them and the acekard pops open quite easily.
2. bend back or remove the cover over spring area.
3. push the spring upwards and try to move the spring to the right side and pull the spring out, try a xacto knife, pin/needle, or even a toothpick.
The cover doesnt seem to do anything beside hold the spring or plastic peice in in case it gets dislodged and tries to pop out, why i removed mine

not sure if the M3/R4 has the same spring/method/style but you can try it if your certain your slot 1 is broken
Disclaimer: do not try this unless you can risk breaking your device, also this will void the warrenty if there were any. i do not recommend doing the above unless your certain that other options are not available. i am not responsible for any failed attempts or damage to the device or other hardware by attempting this.
