Fantastic review, Shaun. This new PassMe sounds just like what the scene needed - a stylish, compact PassMe that doesn't need an original card. Next stage: making them the size of original NDS cards...

Review updated

A few things have just been brought to my attention...

The first is that this PassMe goes by several names...
  • PassMe Upgrade
  • PassMe-2-Z
  • PassMe2Z
  • PassCard
Also I've been told that these PassMe's usually come with a sticker on the side of the box indicating what game is inside the PassMe. Written in the form of the 4 character serial number code. I don't know why mine didn't come with one, I guess some Chinese guy in a sweat shop is going to get a good telling off soon though!

This update doesn't really affect the review at all, as the games in the carts are still random and whatever save type you do end up with is still the luck of the draw.

What they should do is open their own shop and support custom orders. The ability to pick what game you want inserted and programmed would of course cost more, but for those willing to spend the money for a PassMe2 with a larger saver I think it'd be a good option. Not me though, I'm picking up an M3/G6 PassKey at kicktrading next time there in. (Gotta be the 8th time I've said this... this time is actually happening! I swear it! REALLY!)

This passme device is by the same company as the Ewin. I guess this is their new model passme. The size is great but the price naturally isn't. They need to buy an original game to put into it. Hell they should have bought 500 copies of Ping Pals from Amazon when they were selling for $5

Personally a passme is only useful for installing Flashme. After that you don't need the damn thing anymore
